Dr. Robin Obenchain, MD

She is the best doctor that I have seen since I was diagnose with stage four melanoma lung cancer for the last five years. I have had five different doctors. She cares about everyone that she sees. She doesn’t just see you for a few minutes, she cares about her patience’s, 100%, I could not see myself seeing another doctor.

She's been my oncologist for six years, and I still see her even though I am not covered by insurance in AZ anymore. Worth it. She actually does more for me than my primary care doctor. When I have an appointment it's more like visiting a friend than a medical exam. She is smart and she listens. I literally trust her with my life. Thank you, Dr. Obenchain!

Dr. Obenchain is a very special doctor. This lovely doctor makes you feel listened to and she gives you plenty of time. So, if you get frustrated waiting so long to be called in for your appointment, it’s because she’s giving her patient plenty of time as she does for you. I find her staff to be very kind and efficient. What a blessing she is for so many.

I can't say enough good things about Dr Obenchain. She is truly an amazing doctor and a wonderful kind person. I was diagnosed with breast cancer at a young age. Having a cancer diagnosis is scary, and before finding Dr Obenchain, there was so much anxiety about going to appointments. Once I stepped foot in her office, it was a pleasant experience. Her kindness is so reassuring and genuine. You feel well taken care of by her. I never have felt rushed, and she is so good about asking the patient what their preferences are, allowing you to feel good about your plan of care. I cant recommend her enough, and I am so thankful for Dr. Obenchain!

She is amazing ! I highly recommend her ! She is a great listener , makes a great plan for cancer care and answers any questions you may have .

My experiences with Dr Obenchain has been hugh blessings in my life. She treated and cured me of Breast cancer 15 years ago. She is now my doctor of choice. She is now treating me for lung cancer. She is still the same highly qualified, efficient, loving and caring physician that I met these many years ago.

Dr Obenchain has been treating my low Platelets for many years.She is an excellent doctor and always has time to discuss treatments and risks. I trust her 100%

Dr. Obenchain is a nice enough and caring doctor. Her staff is horrible and for this reason i can’t recommend them. They never return any calls. You have to call over and over and get upset for them to finally maybe do something! I had to have my primary care doctor contact office on my behalf to get anything moving. Here i am again trying to schedule a follow up after a procedure i have scheduled and can’t get it scheduled because her staff always tells me they will call me back and then they never do! I wish i could contact her directly but haven’t found a way to do that. It’s sad because if it was just her there and not her staff i could recommend but because of her staffs lack of efficiency and compassion i can only give this office 1 star.

I moved here from Illinois and my AZ family dr referred me to Dr. Oberchain. She has been great about checking to make sure my cancer hasn’t returned. Then I had a video appointment during the beginning of the pandemic. I had mentioned a problem I noticed, that had nothing to do with her field. She said I needed it checked ASAP. I told her that probably no one would see me because of the pandemic. She said she would find someone to see me. After she made many calls to specialists trying to find a dr working that would see me, she called me back with the information. She could have very well saved my life! Just shows how much she really cares!

I would highly recommend Dr Robin Obenchain; as I was recently diagnosed with Cancer. Nobody wants to hear the C Word; however, she was so gentle in her approach that I suddenly felt at ease. I can't even explain how amazing she was in explaining and getting me to all the right doctors. She was extremely thorough and personable. She spent time with me and my family and, I did not feel rushed at all. I actually praise the Lord for leading me to her. I'm so very Thankful!!!

We like Dr Obenchains bedside manner. She always listens intently and never feel like we are hurried through our appt. My husband is Dr Obenchains patient and would highly recommend her.

I met doctor Obenchain after my previous doctors had incorrectly diagnosed my condition. She took the time and effort to find the cause and effects of my problems. Then used the latest treatment options. The result - my condition has completely reversed. I now am healthier and feel better mentality and physically than I have in years. Dr Obenchain has totally changed my future and most probably saved my life.

Dr Robn Obenchain is my archangel as I face cancer again. Her knowledge, competence & professionalism is only exceeded by her compassion,,warmth & humanity. She makes time to listen to my concerns&helps me to overcome my anxieties before i leave. During my 6mos of chemo I was continuously monitored & treated w/ IV fluids, vitaminB shots & iron supplements. Dr Robin & her entire staff are a little bit of heaven on earth helping her patients face that helll that is cancer. God bless them!

Dr. Obenchain is very personable. She genuinely cares for you and explains everything clearly. Unfortunately, her staff is totally opposite her in every way. I would still be with her if it weren't for her staff. The staff will not follow up on what they promise to do. I had to call for months to finally get needed paperwork done. The staff tends to blame each other or other entities for not following through on sending any messages to the doctor. The pharmacy also had problems with staff

I would recommend Dr. Obenchain. I'm trying to return but, I can't see her until February 29, which is to far out. Her staff will not work with you to see her sooner so, I may have to find another doctor in my area. Dr. Obenchain is wonderful, her staff has much to be desired.
