Dr. Robin Hopmeier, MD

I was extremely nervous about being put under for the first time in my life and the awesome nurses told me that the anesthesiologist would come meet with me to explain everything and ease my nerves a bit. When Dr. Hopmeier finally made her way to my room she read of my chart and decided to lecture me in a very rude manner why I should reconsider taking something that has helped me for 14 years. When she was done ranting I was talking to another nurse and she was still making sideways comments about what I should be doing instead. She even walked by in post op and made another comment of how much of something she had to use during my brief surgery. A little understanding would go along way. Trying to lecture people that are incredibly nervous for their first surgery is distasteful. Thanks for keeping me alive though!
