A Doctor who really cares about you
Dr. Fuchs performed a total hip replacement surgery on my right hip six weeks ago. He and his staff were thorough in preparing me for the whole process from preparing to the day of the surgery to the recovery process. I must admit that the first week was very challenging dealing with the pain and constipation due to the narcotic medication. Fortunately, I was able to abandon the narcotic on the sixth day and conditions improved significantly by the end of week 2. Currently, pain, stiffness and mobility are improving almost daily. Thank goodness and thanks to Dr. Fuchs and his staff.

Rotator Cuff Surgery
I’m 6 weeks post op and appreciate the excellent care I’ve received from Dr Fuchs and both his surgical and clinic teams. My surgery went great and I had minimal to no pain due to the nerve block I received before surgery. I appreciate the cautious approach to my recovery, and am encouraged by the progress I have made thus far through diligent physical therapy. I highly recommend Dr Fuchs.

Knee replacement
My experience is totally positive. I received excellent information leading up to my decision to get a total knee replacement. I had a very good experience with the surgery and my healing is going good. I work hard and my mobility is great at this point in the process. I am very glad to have it done and having my mobility back.

Excellent experience all around
I am 60yr old female six weeks post-TKA (left). From initial consult through surgery and post-op visits, Dr. Fuchs was attentive, answered every question, and made the process as comfortable as possible. The Swiftpath instructions were clear and appreciated. I won't call the experience 'easy,' but I will say it was much easier than expected. I am confident I will return to Dr. Fuchs for my right TKA (which is only a question of when, not if).

Back to gym after 6 weeks
I took my post surgery (knee replacement) and rehab seriously. The first 14 days were a struggle to manage the pain. At week 3, I was going up and down stairs. Now doing bike and elliptical in the gym. Yes, I still have pain issues at night. Dr Fuchs says to take it easy and build back the muscle in my leg. Squats are helpful. Challenge accepted. My range of motion flex is at 128 after 6 weeks.

Total knee replacement
I am a 75 year-old woman five weeks out of TKR. Dr. Fuchs and his staff have been remarkable. They made me feel comfortable and at ease throughout the procedure I followed all of the recommendations and was walking without a walker three weeks after surgery. I would definitely recommend him, and will be using him for my other knee in the future. His knowledge and expertise was evident on my first visit. Scaring is less than I had anticipated. Very happy with results.

Execellent orthopedic doctor.
Can’t say enough good things about Dr. Fuchs and my total experience with my total right knee replacement. It has all gone as well as such a procedure could go. I have total faith in Dr. Fuchs and the entire staff. Would I return to him in the future if I needed another similar operation. Definitely a yes! The follow-up has also been tremendous.

Full knee replacement
Dr Fuchs and his staff were very helpful and supportive before and after the surgery. The SwiftPath guide they provided was very useful in preparation for the surgery, and presenting what to expect with recovery and rehab. My recovery went better than expected by following the information in the guide. The pain and discomfort was manageable and I was basically back to my normal activities within 7 weeks. Dr Fuchs' friendly and reassuring attitude definitely helped ease my concerns. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing this procedure.

Excellent Surgeon and World Class Expertise
I had the pleasure of being treated by Dr. Robin Fuchs for a hip issue that had been affecting my daily life for years. From the moment I walked into the office, I was impressed with the professionalism of the staff and the overall welcoming atmosphere. Dr. Fuchs took the time to listen to my concerns, thoroughly explained my diagnosis, and outlined all possible treatment options in a clear and understandable way. What I really appreciated was how patient-centered the care was. Dr. Fuchs worked with me to develop a treatment plan that suited my lifestyle and goals. It was obvious replacement surgery was the next step in the path to restore my mobility and pain levels. The hip replacement surgery was a smooth and successful experience, and the recovery process was much easier than I had anticipated, thanks to Dr. Fuchs's expertise. I felt supported every step of the way.I am now at week 6 post surgery and highly recommend Dr. Fuchs to anyone dealing with hip problems.

Excellent Dr Fuchs hip replacement experience.
It is important to have a Orthopedic Dr like Dr Fuchs because he tells it like it is and does a great job of informing the patient of all the details of the surgery and the recovery. Like the super informative booklet DR hands out states, there will be some aches and pains in the first few days of recovery. It gets better with time. Eating small meals 1st days post surgery is the way to go. Icing helps. Compression socks are a bit of a challenge getting on unless you have help. Dr, his nurses, plus the staff at Evergreen hospital are all very good.

Knee replacement
Great follow up with Dr. Fuchs. My knee has been doing incredibly well over this past several months after surgery. I've had no problems whatsoever and walking as much as 10,000 to 25,000 steps. Recently, climbed Diamond Head Mountain in Oahu, Hawaii with ease. I'm amazed how well my knee works without any pain. Thank you

Knee replacement
I had a great experience with Dr. Fuchs and his team - they were all awesome - from the minute i walked in the door - I felt confident i was in the right place. I'm now one month out - the knee is heeling great - I'm walking without my walker and often without a cane - so I could not be happier and look forward to doing my other knee. Thanks Dr. Fuchs and Team.

Highly Recommended Othopedic Surgeon
I came to Dr. Fuchs as an 80 year old patient with Degenerative Joint Disease experiencing chronic pain in my left hip causing significant impact on my overall quality of life. From my first meeting with Dr. Fuchs, he impressed me as a friendly, engaging health care professional who led me through the process of undergoing Total Hip Replacement Surgery resulting in significant improvement in my overall situation. As a high risk patient because of my age, Dr. Fuchs explained the risks associated with this surgery then covered in detail what the surgery entailed. Throughout this process, Dr. Fuchs took whatever time necessary to answer all of my questions, using his 'SwiftPath Method' Patient Guide to walk me through all stages of the procedure (pre-op, day of surgery, post-op, etc.) allowing me to better understand the nature of the surgery and what to expect during the recovery period. In my opinion, Dr. Fuchs is an outstanding surgeon that I would highly recommend to others.
