Dr. Robin Berglund, MD

If could give negative stars, I would. From the 1st session with this doctor, he was off-putting, judgmental, arrogant, negative and rude. 2nd session was scheduled and my texts on my phone were not working. Instead of calling, he immediately charged my CC for a missed appt. I WOULD NOT recommend this rude man to anyone. Calls himself a professional. I receive better therapy from my dog. STAY AWAY!

After seeing Dr B on-and-off for over 15 years , he completely cut me off with no medication and no way to contact him while i'm abroad. Do not trust him with your mental health. Do not trust him with your child's mental health.He is dismissive and rude and always has been. I would see him whenever I lived in Los Angeles, and he has never been more than an espensive prescription pad. I saw him because it was more convenient than finding a new doctor. That was a mistake. Go somewhere else. He will not help you solve problems with pharmacies or insurance, even when those problems could be easily remedied by a phone call. Look at his responses to people's reviews about him. This isn't how a mental health professional behaves.

I have been with dr Berglund since I was diagnosed with Adhd almost six years now. Just like other reviews, he is rude, abrasive, and purposely does not remind patients when meetings are so he can charge you when you miss the appointment. I also know people that do not have adhd or haven’t been tested that went to Berglund asking for medication and after a quick phone call, that person was a new client receiving medication. I would steer clear from this doctor unless you just wanna lose money and time.

Dr. Berglund was very helpful for my son, who is 12 and has ASD/ADHD/Anxiety. He was helpful, and efficient, had a great bedside manner, and responds quickly when I text with questions. I am shocked at his negative reviews. My son also loves him, which is a very good sign. He is a knowledgeable and outstanding clinician, and I highly recommend him!

I was so grateful to be able to get an appointment with Dr Berglund ASAP. He responded quickly and took my insurance. He is very knowledgeable and kind. It was refreshing to actually have a Doctor listen to me and be responsive to my needs. He is a psychiatrist not a therapist, so he was very through and accurate with my diagnosis. I highly recommend this Doctor he is very intelligent and experienced.

I’ve had great experiences with Dr. Bergland over the years. He’s one of the few who totally get adult autism and ADHD, and doesn’t have bias against female diagnosis. He’s exclusively doing telehealth appointments right now, which works for me to avoid traffic!

I didn't listen to the negative reviews. I pride myself in making my own assessments and not be swayed by others. Having said that Dr. Berglund has been great for me. Though he may not be for everyone he has been in the business for a long time so he is clearly doing something right. I am grateful to have found him and would recommend him. I am not looking for someone soft and fluffy. I need someone to get to the solution and help! And that he has definitely done that.

The absolute worst doctor I have ever encountered. SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY this man has no idea what he’s doing AND is UNKIND, unsympathetic, and unhelpful.

Very knowledgeable and skilled at prescribing proper medication and dosage. Although I was only briefly under Dr. Berglund's care years ago the medicine he prescribed has done wonders in helping turn my life around with controlling and conquering anxiety, depression, and insomnia which has in turn helped me gain and maintain employment in addition to doing wonders for my personal social life. I plan to return to him for medication management upon moving back into town.

I was treated by Dr. Berglund for 3 years, before I left California. He was always prompt, listened well and did not overtreat me. I really don't understand all of the negative reviews above. His "oddly" decorated office is because he treats children with ADD and other disorders. Frankly, I found it cheerful and refreshing. His diagnosis was spot on and to this day the medications he prescribed are still working perfectly. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Berglund.

I would give him less stars if I could. Rude, obnoxious, unsympathetic, and misogynistic to boot. Unavailable in an emergency and just plain incompetent. I’m shocked the man still has a license.

This Dr. is awfull. He is negative, impatient, quick to judgement, negative, mean, in the guise of being upfront and honest. No compassion. Do not see him. Should not be in practice.

Dr. Berglund is very knowledgeable and helpful. He has been essential in creating an appropriate plan for my son's behaviors. Some people who want to chat and socialize may not understand that he needs to get right down to business in order to maximize the session and give an accurate diagnosis. Really small, oddly decorated environment. He's pretty rude and has this absurd way of charging the card you co-pay with if you miss an appointment. Makes zero attempt to contact you on to conform appointment days. Seems to rely on patients not showing up, charging their card $300 on no shows.
