Saved my Fingers
I know the frustrations of going to doctor's offices, with the pandemic and especially with a very urgent medical concern but Dr. Acosta and Staff remember you and are more than just advocates, they will take you by the hand and lead the way. I visited an Urgent Care, 2 Hospital Emergency Rooms and Doctor's offices in 3 days before St. Mary's Hospital, who were the 2nd emergency room that night; they leap into action, ER doctor spoke with Dr. Acosta, admitted me and prepped me for surgery. To the other institutions, it was not an emergency, but Dr. Acosta saved two of my fingers if not my whole hand early that morning. The Staff there including Florida Hand Therapy (in the same office) and Dr. Acosta go above and beyond just medical attention, they treat you as a person and meet your needs. I cannot praise them enough for their help and the doctor for his tireless effort and devotion. they CARE and strive with you for the best outcome in an obvious time of need! Thank you ALL so much!

Dr. Acosta operated on my husband 11 years ago when 3 prior doctors refused to do it because it was so bad. The third doctor referred him to Dr. Acosta who fixed it and he has had no problems. Since then we have both had carpal tunnel surgery and he also operated on my trigger finger at the same time. He is fantastic and his PA is great also. The entire office is extremely nice. I recommend Dr. Acosta to everyone. He is the best!

He is the best hand surgeon in south Florida. I have been to see him for more than a couple of issues and have been extremely pleased. His office staff (Debbie) is also pleasant and administratively productive. He has good bed-side manner but more importantly, he is an extremely competent surgeon. Finally, I strongly believe that he is more concerned about his patients’ well being than his bottom line. Shashi

I am an arm amputee who has been seen for problems involving my good arm by other specialists. The overuse I inflict on my arm is normal, but detrimental and when I asked fellow coworkers for recommendations for a specialist, Dr. Acosta was recommended by several. From the moment I met him I was more than comfortable with his him and the treatment plan he generated for me. He fixed the problem, took time to explain to my understanding and I was very pleased. So pleased I have been back to him for my latest issue and I was diagnosed with something rare, Kienbox Disease. Although rare, it didn’t surprise me he was able to diagnose the extremely painful problem and he is currently considering our options. I will more than likely have to do the most extreme to fix, but there isn’t anyone I’d rather have overseeing and initiating a plan to heal me than Dr. Acosta. He is truly the best when it comes to the hand ?? Thank you Dr. Acosta

Dr. Acosta is like a super hero. He saw me the same day I called, was patient, kind and answered every question then booked surgery 2 days later. Dr. Acosta repaired my hand meticulously in surgery and later no scar. His staff was amazing, professional, friendly, happy, very good to patients, long term employees and they all love love loved Dr. Acosta. Even in the waiting room, patients were telling me how great Doctor Acosta was before I met him and one patient had been seeing him for 20 years. The surgery center staff was professional, efficient, yet somehow made a potentially scary experience fun for me. This doctor is the best.

I would not have use of my arm today if I had not met Dr. Acosta. Shattered my arm and previous Dr. could not get it to heal. Dr. Acosta is meticulous and keeps his patients best interest at heart. It is evident he is also great with his staff because they are also friendly, caring and attentive. To me, it says a lot to have the same staff over the years I have been a patient.

Excellent, skilled & personable Dr! Nice, friendly staff! Would gladly give 10 STARS, if not for the incredibly long wait in the waiting rm, then again in the exam rm. Had a 3:15 appt, arrived 3:18, was put in exam rm @ 4:00, & I left at 4:38 w/the Dr in w/one patient & to see another before seeing me! If this is a clinic (multiple pts scheduled same time), then call it that, but if you give me a specific time to see the Dr, then make every effort please, to adhere to the schedule set by you!
