Dr Zink replaced my heart valve..I believe him and his team are amazing!!

I have worked with many cardio thoracic surgeons in the past in my career and was expecting a typical C/T surgeon...rushes, too clinical, and full of themselves. Dr Zink was an ultra professional surgeon and human being. I felt he cared and listened to me and addressed all o my concerns before heart surgery. He is probably the best surgeon in terms of humanity and skills I have ever had the pleasure to meet, and fortunately, perform my procedure. Aftercare with he, Karen and the staff were second to none and though I hope to never have needs of his services and care again, he would be the first I go to if needed. God bless the man!

It was well organized. All the " helpers" were very polite, explained what they were doing and why. Good experience!

Excellent -- caring and professional. Dr. Zink took the time to explain what proved to be, after undergoing an upper endoscopy, simply an enlarged thoracic aorta. His intelligent response and patient explanation calmed any lingering worries. My heart is healthy and functioning normally. He thus gained my trust for continued monitoring over the next 5 years, to ensure all continues to be well.

Dr. Zink… Is the consummate professional… Easy to talk to… Answered all her questions… And went into extreme detail on each part of the procedure… And his options and what he recommended… We have known him as a cardiothoracic surgeon for 13+ years had always heard good things about his work...Never thought I’d be a patient… But what comfort when my emergency developed to know that I was in Dr. Zink’s hands we are so grateful for him and his team… Four-way bypass… Recovering great in cache Valley Utah

My entire stay at Ogden Regional, from check in to check out was very professional and I felt the care and concern from every employee. Dr. Zink was caring, visited my room at least daily to report on my current condition, both before and after surgery, answered my questions, and the surgery was professionally done. The follow up after surgery was thorough and my recovery has been closely followed by Dr Zink and his staff. I would highly recommend this group of surgeons and staff for any cardiovascular treatment one might need. Thank you for your excellent life saving treatment in my behalf.

Good bedside manner. Easy to talk to and understands the concerns of his patients when it comes to talking about problems and surgery procedures His office staff is friendly and willing to go beyond to help make a person feel at easy will visiting the doc. Good with follow up information when required. Have had Dr Zink do surgery before and was treated good while in the hospital

Went in for consultation. Staff was fantastic. Very helpful and friendly. Office was inviting. A relaxed feeling. I was helped quickly after entering. Medical assistant was friendly and efficient. Doctor Zink was amazing. He answered all of my questions, told me the risks and all what he’d do. Explained so I could understand. Both my husband and I commented after we left how much we liked him.

This was my first visit with Dr. Zink. I was involved in a terrible car accident and fractured my sternum. I found that he genuinely listened to me and was concerned with my health and recovery. He made a suggestion to see another specialist in a different discipline that I had not even thought of. I was very grateful for his insight. Equally impressive was his staff. One of them really went the extra mile to call another specialist for me and made sure they were on my insurance. I was very impressed with all the help I received and would highly recommend Dr Zink.

I recently had the need for a new heart surgeon because my previous surgeon had left Utah. I am so grateful and please to have found Dr. Zink. He is honestly one of the most caring doctors I have ever been to. His knowledge and ability is outstanding. I trust him with my life and I would highly recommend him if heart surgery is needed. He and his staff are the best!

Dr. Zink and his staff are absolutely the best. He is an excellent surgeon. Always willing to go the extra mile no matter what time of day or night. If you have to call after hours, he always calls back within just a few minutes. Listens to your concerns and tells you what you need to do. When you apologize for calling after hours his comment is "That is what we are here for". His PA Karen is also the best. At the end of a visit she writes what has been discussed and gives it to you.
