Dr. Robert Winiecki, MD

Has been mine, my family and my extended family’s doctor for over 30 years. He always takes his time, listens and is ALWAYS accurate in his assessments. Not to mention always fits you in for last minute visits. I wish there were more doctors like Dr. Winiecki.

I am not quite happy the way Dr conducts annual physical. Looks like his goal is to bring in patient twice - and charge for annual physical 1st, and then long consultation after the blood work (supposed to be 45min or more even though he will hardly spend 10min with patient). I initially thought, it could be for the 1st time patient, but when it occurred on next year, I declined consultation and asked to send over the prescription. However, to my surprise, Dr. declined to issue any medication for my diabetes and referred to a specialist. And, the nurse told me that - "Dr. probably would've referred to a specialist anyway". At this point, I was thinking why do I need to pay for a long consultation only to learn that I should see a specialist!!! He clearly cares for his business, and least bothered for patient.

He is the Best Doctor. Takes his time with his patients. Genuinely cares. Professional and personable.

Dr. Winiecki is awesome!!! He's been my PCP for about 30 years and has always been there when I needed him. He and his staff are always pleasant and helpful. In addition, Dr. Winiecki is always kind and offers good, pragmatic health care advice. His office does their best to fit me in for an appointment as soon as possible when needed.

Interesting that some reviewers experienced an unpleasant welcome into this practice. The woman who answered my phone call and greeted me when I walked in for my visit was the nicest person I have ever come across in a medical reception environment....perhaps they changed staff? What has never changed in all my years seeing Dr Winiecki is his genuine concern for what may be ailing me at any given point. He does indeed take the time to answer any questions you may have.

Call this office to experience everything that's wrong with healthcare in America. You'll be screened by arrogant staff whose first goal is to determine your worth in terms of insurance coverage. Next, you'll be grilled on why you're looking for a doctor & why you're leaving your current doctor. Finally, you'll be told, and I quote, "Dr. spends 45 minutes with patients, so he wants to make sure he's not wasting his time. We'll call you if Dr. decides to see you." Tip: Don't hold your breath.

I have been seeing Dr Winiecki for approximately 25 years. When I am sick, I have always been able to get an appointment to see him either on the day I call or the following day. I have always been happy with the treatment I receive and the answers to my questions. Frequently my questions are about how medications work or what is happening with an illness at the organ or cellular level. It is amazing how many MDs won't answer these questions but he does.

Dr. Winiecki is very considerate, friendly and thorough. I recommend Dr. Winiecki to everyone that I know!
