Missed part of the tooth
I saw Dr. Wallock 2 months ago for the extraction of a molar tooth. The Doctor was professional and pleasant during the procedure. My complaint is that he didn't remove all of the tooth. He left part of the root. I decided to have my regular dentist (not Dr. Wallock) finish the job. He obviously was multi-tasking when I was at his office. I suspect that the multi-tasking led to this mistake. Because of his mistake, I had to endure the additional expense and discomfort of a second procedure.

great oral surgeon
My husband has seen Dr Wallock twice for extractions. The office staff is friendly. He got in very quickly. The procedure itself was fast and painless. He did an excellent job or else we wouldn’t have gone back again.

Took Hasty Action Without Consent
My son had his wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Wallock. One of the sutures was very problematic for my son, and we went it to have it looked at. We asked if it could be trimmed and Dr Wallock said no, it's just how it is supposed to be. We started to leave, but as the suture was so problematic for my son I was afraid he'd do something himself at home, we went back in to discuss further. Dr. Wallock was visibly annoyed and proceeded to say he'd just remove it (meaning the suture) and before we knew what was happening, he was ripping it out of my son's mouth. He did not give us an opportunity to discuss the risks and benefits of having the suture removed. He acted in haste without properly informing us and left us feeling distraught, distressed and concerned over how this will impact my son's recovery. His behavior was completely inappropriate and unprofessional. I will be filing formal complaints with Oral surgeon board and association of which he is a part.

Extraction
Dr. Wallock did a great job extracting a badly decayed molar. Much less pain than I had expected. He followed up with a call the next day to see if everything was OK.

I don't know many people that like going to the dentist and especially an oral surgeon. That being said, I went to Dr. Wallock in 2019 to have a tooth removed at the recommendation of my dentist. I was anxious and let him know I had a low pain threshold. During the entire visit he and his staff were very accommodating and aware of my concerns. They addressed what was going to happen each step of the way, ensured I was comfortable, and really seemed to care. The whole visit was done before I knew it and with no pain during or after the procedure. I had some minor pain during recovery, but it was tolerable. I saw Dr. Wallock again this year for a post implant. I had a similar experience and again, was very pleased with how he and his staff handled each step of the procedure. The office staff are top notch, patient-focused, and upfront about costs, expectations, and bedside manner.

Dr Robert Wallock is a superb Oral Surgeon. He did localized surgery on me eight years ago and again recently. He has excellent diagnostic knowledge and also is an outstanding clinician. I highly recommend Dr. Wallock to my patients.

Very poor after care instructions were given for care after wisdom teeth removal. He has no backup for care if emergencies arise and my daughter had to suffer in excruciating pain all weekend until he returned from out of town. He was then extremely rude to us when he saw us. Would not recommend.

I was in pain and needed a specialist, fast. Dr. Wallock didn't hesitate. He got me in the next day (without a "rush Fee" that another specialist tried to charge me, don't let them take advantage of you pain). Dr. Wallock was professional and very knowledgeable. He calmed my fears and removed my pain. I strongly recommend him.

Dr. Wallock took care of an extraction and prepping for an implant placement. He was excellent. He was efficient and made sure I was not uncomfortable during the procedure. He took time to personally check in later the same day on how I was doing. His staff was great as well. The assistants made sure I was well informed of the post care needed and were supportive during the procedure. I would not hesitate to see him again...but hope I don't need to!

Dr Wallock and his staff were excellent! They answered all our questions and addressed concerns before the procedure. Post operative healing went very well and we couldn't have asked for a better overall experience. We recommend them very highly.

I have referred my family for multiple extractions - every time Dr. Wallock spends time to make them comfortable and at ease. Dr. Wallock has personally called every time to follow up with the patient to see how they are several hours to the next day! One of the best oral surgeons I am aware of! As a hygienist, I know ;)

Terrible bedside manner. Has 3+ patients going on at once. Because he had so many patients at once and the wait in the room was so long, the numbing medication wore off. There is a lot of yelling and screaming so it is a disturbing place to be. If you hate someone, send them here. I wish I could give zero stars.
