A practitioner who does not 'practice' on you!
Dr. Vance was very friendly, yet professional. He listened to my concerns and quickly came to a possible 'cause' of my distress - and he was correct - Covid! As we waited for the test results, we discussed other 'health things' (I told him that I primarily practiced holistic health protocols- he was NOT dismissive of me) - and then he offered advice as regards my afib (not what I was there for)... which I am following up on with my cardiologist. I highly recommend him for his knowledge, compassion and pleasant personality! (not condescending, as I have read in other reviews)

Dr "Arrogant" Vance
Dr Vance can keep you waiting as long as he wants in the waiting room, But if you are late within their 10 minute window he will not see you. You have to reschedule. After reading his reviews it is obvious his arrogance is displayed in many other areas. I will discontinue using Vera Health until they get doctors that are more concerned about a patients well being versus his time is more important than a patient. Arrogance doesn't pay the bills. Patients do. Vera Health has lost me.

Glad I found this Doctor.
I am new to NV and in January met my new Doctor he since has moved on and was introduced to Dr Vance. He spent a great deal of time to get to know me and my health history and had great innovative ways to approach my health. I live in Lake Las Vegas but will gladly got to Summerlin to get this level of service.

I’ve been a patient of his for 5yrs and lately Dr. Vance seems condescending. Last week he said, I’ll either see you for pre surgery needs or your stomach concerns... which one do you want? Then when he left out of the room he exhaled like I was tasking him. Further, he stayed out in the hallway speaking collegial to another doctor. I waited 30 minutes then Dr. Vance came back in saying Yeah your surgery approval was put in last week so I can see you about your stomach issues.

I’m a 67 yr old man who actually enjoy the visits to see Dr Vance. He is friendly and he looks me in the eye when I explain my pain and problems. His advice is always spot on. He allows my wife in the exam room with me so she helps me to remember his wonderful advice. The entire staff is like family . Lawrence G in Las Vegas, NV

I've been a patient for almost 10 yrs. I have VERY serious med issues that were being mis, under or not diagnosed. He was the first Dr who actually, genuinely cared & took the time, to review, diagnose & refer me to the right specialists. I suffer from chronic pain & other symptoms. I need several meds, want to take bare min & avoid opiods. Dr Vance w/the patience of a saint, through trial and error, helps me achieve this. He could EASILY get away with doing less & I could easily be a statistic.

Dr. Vance is an knowledgeable an professional physician. His bedside manner is excellent and he remains current on medical procedures and standards in his field. If the rating system was based solely on Dr. Vance as physician I would have no issue scoring five stars, but his office staff costs him one. Wait time in the office is excruciating. The staff sometimes allows their frustrations with these delays to be apparent to those waiting, this is never acceptable in a doctor's office.
