As bad as it gets ...
Our experience with Dr Stine at Ct Children's Hospital was about as negative as it can get. Just hours after telling us that our daughter would be held over one more night ( making 5 nights total in an emergency room!) for observation he ordered an inpatient placement and an emergency commitment. All of this going on while every professional on our team opposed holding her at all and advocated for her discharge. She was discharged from the inpatient placement as soon after consulting her personal psychiatrist and the emergency commitment was dropped as soon as we opposed it. Dr Stine's actions cast a shadow on our whole perception of Ct Children's.What a massive waste of resources!
