Caring, knowledgeable Doctor
Went to Dr. Stein for a second opinion on prostate surgery. He spent almost 2 hours with me, explaining my diagnosis and treatment options. He was a very caring and kind person. A trait that is not very common in the medical field.

Dr. Stein performed robotic surgery (cancer)
I have not had any issues since the removal of my prostate (cancer). My experience with Dr. Stein was fantastic. He not only is s great doctor but a better person. He and his team explained everything about my cancer and the surgery. Time was never an issue. If I ever have to have any other medical procedures or surgeries in the future I would trust Dr. Stein to take care of me period. That is how much I trust him and believe in his skills and abilities. I wish all doctors were like him.

Great surgeon. Very relatable and attentive.
I am so happy I found Dr. Stein. Through a series of errors from my referring urologist, I took an unexpected call from the Cleveland Clinic to schedule. I put that on hold trying to straighten things out with my urologist, and their office didn't seem to be able to make a referral happen, so I went back to Cleveland Clinic on my own, even though it's a bit of a drive. Dr. Stein was very attentive to my concerns and honest about the potential side effects of RARP. They were able to work me into the schedule for surgery very quickly, which was a relief after months of testing before I finally got the cancer diagnosis. He did an outstanding job and spared both nerves, and my recovery is going very well. Thank-You!

Dr Stein took ample amount of time during initial online appointment and at preop to explain the surgery process and any of my concerns. Top notch surgeon in my opinion! Almost a week postop and all is well.

I had a varicocele and had an embolization procedure to correct it. I had a foreign body reaction and metal allergy to the coils used. Dr. Stein took a chance and removed my coils. I believe this was the first time he had undertook this type of operation. I am glad he felt confident in his abilities and did the necessary research to make the removal a success. I am a year from having the coils removed and my quality of health is greatly improved. I am glad he was my surgeon.

When I found out I needed surgery to remove a mass on my right kidney, I went on a search for the very best Doctor I could find. I am so glad I chose Dr. Stein. From my first appointment with him, he calmed my nerves tremendously and made me feel confident that I would get through this. The day of my surgery came and went without any complications! I highly recommend Dr. Stein.

Dr Stein was exceptionally thorough and thoughtful in his responses to my questions. He spent a great deal of time in my appointment (longer than my scheduled appointment time) and I never felt rushed or that he was in a hurry. He showed great compassion and concern for me and my wife. While obviously an accomplished clinician he was very down to earth. We never felt like we were just another patient. It was an excellent experience.
