Best Experience I've Had
Dr. Sporter and his nurse Lauren are FANTASTIC. This is the best all-around physician's office experience I've had. To say Lauren went above and beyond is an understatement. They have both demonstrated such care, warmth, expertise, and persistence in helping to address the issues that I raised during my visit. Could not recommend them more.

Dr. Sporter’s office is extremely efficient- I was easily able to complete all forms on my phone. The office is clean and well maintained. I was seen promptly by his RN and then he saw me as well. He listened carefully and asked many questions before coming to a diagnosis. We discussed medications and he encouraged me to give input on what might work best for me. He reassured me that he would help me to manage my issue and I felt very confident in his skill set, vast wealth of knowledge, and personal efforts to help me. I would certainly see him again and will recommend him to others who may need a allergist.

I was referred to Dr. Sporter by a trusted friend, and I have gone on to refer Dr. Sporter to others. The level of compassion exhibited by Dr. Sporter and his team is honestly hard to come by. You can tell he truly likes his work, his team enjoys working with him, he keeps up with developments in his field, and importantly, understands the mental/emotional experiences that accompany the often chronic physical symptoms bringing patients into his office. I always trust I’ll be well taken care of and listened to during my visits

I have been bringing my child to Dr. Sporter for food and seasonal allergies for years. He is truly an expert in kids’ food allergies and is faculty at Mount Sinai. He is super friendly and has a great rapport with kids and parents. With Dr Sporter’s help, several of my son’s nut allergies have resolved over the years with skin testing and food challenges. We continue to see him in NYC even after our family moved to Long Island. We trust Dr Sporter and his staff and wouldn’t go anywhere else.

We had an excellent experience with Dr. Sporter. Our 16M old son was born with eczema and has struggled with dry skin and other irritations since he was born. After mediocre success with topical treatments, our pediatrician referred us (she takes her own kids to him). Dr. Sporter explained that eczema can be linked to food allergies. With the help of skin testing, food challenges and his advice to proactively introduce nuts into our son's diet, we have successfully avoided any true nut allergies. I highly recommend Dr. Sporter to anyone who is struggling with similar issues - he was patient, supportive but also steadfast in his advice - which I'm sure any new parent can appreciate when seeing their child suffer.

From the moment Dr. Sporter walked into the room, he was high energy and made me feel immediately comfortable. He’s quick witted and to the point yet thorough and never did I feel rushed or uncomfortable asking questions. He listened to my story and medical history, quickly made a diagnosis and delivered a well thought out plan. I am very pleased with the service and bedside manner I received from Dr. Sporter and would not hesitate to go back and refer friends and family.

Our 15th month was already diagnosed with food allergies through bloodwork and the needle test. First the Dr dismissed his dairy allergy when we raised it as a possiblity, which he first missed. Then Dr Sporter went ahead with a peacan challenge, unnecessarily in IMO already knowing his inclination to be allergic. Fortunately, he's okay but he ended up in the ER for observation after getting Zyrtec, an EPI, Benadryl & steroids because his reaction was so severe. Do your homework and err on the side of being conservative when it comes to following this Dr's advice.
