Dr. Slaton is very knowledgeable and takes a lot of time with his patients. He’s concerned with one’s overall health and recommends based on the individual. He is the primary care physician for both me and my husband.

During my last physical checkup , the 1st of June, I saw Dr. Robert Slaton. I have been a patient of Dr Slaton's for many years. He also has taken care of 4 of my family members through the years. God bless this amazing doctor~! Thank goodness he never changes.
He takes his time making sure that If we as patients have questions that every question is answered. He always makes sure that our medications are current and still applicable to our physical requirements. He made sure that I was taking all precautions regarding Covid-19. I shared with Dr Slaton the fact that I was disturbed about having to retire from a particular teaching situation that I have enjoyed for many years. I appreciate that he took the time to make some very helpful suggestions that would allow my continuing to teach in another setting. In conclusion, I am very thankful to Dr. Slaton that he has retained me as a patient after so many years. God bless him.
And God bless Louise, she also is a blessing~!!!

Dr. Slaton is a Doctors' Doctor. When a physician picks a physician for himself/herself or a family member, this physician is at the top of the list. In addition to being an excellent clinician and scientist for todays' world, he is the ideal role model for the compassionate and caring physician of we all remember from our past. All our young physicians in training in Gainesville should have the opportunity to have his as their mentor.

Dr. Slaton is very thorough in reviewing my medical issues on each visit. He and Louise review all medications each time and discuss any problems regarding them. I always pleased with all the staff in this office on each visit. They are kind but professional.

Dr Slaton loves what he does & is having fun. he may be the perfect doctor for me with his vast knowledge, enhanced thru experience & my desire to have good medicine. although I was there for the first time, he knew my very long & complex medical history as though he had been treating me from the beginning. his explanation of my condition was simple, direct & left little doubt of my next move as well as giving me assurance that he would share everything with my other doctors. may he continue to practice for many more years & keep me as one of his patient. nurse Louise is a wonderful facilitator & complement for Dr Slaton.

Dr. Slaton is excellent ! Everyone at this office is friendly as well as very efficient. I come the day before my visit and do blood work and they are super quick ,rarely do I wait more than 5 minutes. When I come back for office visit the next day its the same way. I had an 8:30 appointment last week and I got to the office at 8:20 and my nurse called me back at 8:28 which I think is awesome !!

Dr. Slayton is very thorough and provides a complete diagnostic with recommendations for followup if needed. My husband has been a patient for decades and we believe without the expert medical care and advice, he would not be here today. Dr. Slayton's protocol is second to none and much better than the other doctors we have had occasion to visit here in Gainesville.
