Arrogant and didn't listemn to patient.
Arrogant, did not listen to patient after surgery was completed only to find out the surgery performed was not needed as the real injury was a torn quad.

He operated on my arm and left it totally useless. Then he had the nerve to say ever so often they get a case like mine. I broke my humerus.

The Worst Possible!!!!!! Never again. Won’t even call him a Dr. I saw him because of a torn meniscus and fractured tibia. He did the surgery to clean out the torn meniscus. He never put me on blood thinners despite the trauma to the leg. A few days later I developed pain and swelling. I called his office and was told to elevate the leg and put ice on it. Next day I end up in the ER with a DVT and PE. According to the ER Dr the DVT could have killed me. I would never see this “doctor” again.

Dr. Semba is an amazing surgeon. He told me in the beginning that my knee would be back to normal after surgery and rehab. I am 5 months post surgery and my knee is working almost as good as before surgery. My injury takes at least 6 months to fully heal.

He was useless! I went in for shoulder pain and he told me I had neck issues and it wasn't his specialty. Pretty much walked out of the room in the middle of my questions. So I went to a neurologist and now I'm being sent to go to see another shoulder guy because it is not my neck.... its indeed my shoulder. He was a waste of my time and having pain for the last 7 months is not what I've wanted. This doc had no concern for me and the office is just as ridiculous. I would not recommend Dr Semba at all. If I could give him 0 stars I would have.

Dr.Sembs operated on my rotator cuff after a severe fall tearing my rotator cuff and tendon in half. I believe he did a wonderful job and had almost complete recovery within 3 to 4 months with frequent physical therapy. I would highly recommend him as a orthopedic surgeon. Thanks very much Dr. Semba!

Full disclosure: He treated me for a work related injury, so it may have something to do with the way the “system” works. However, Dr Semba performed surgery to repair bi-lateral wrist fractures which included installing pins and plates in both wrists. At this time, Dr advised me of the seriousness of the injuries and advised me not to rush my recovery and he would be my “biggest advocate” in the recovery process. Upon every subsequent follow up visit, I pointed out issues with both hands arms. Each time they were disregarded and attributed to “other conditions” that didn’t exist prior to the injury. 12 weeks later, I went to another follow up. Dr Semba walked in the room, looked at me and said, “Why are you still here?” Gave him same laundry list of issues, and was sent for more extensive PT, which only exacerbated the situation. Went to see another Dr that diagnosed the ongoing issues with one simple test, that required additional surgery to correct. No way I would ever go back

Husband had a fractured hip in April that was repaired by Doctor Semba. When my husband returned 2 months later complaining of constant pain, Doctor Semba took an x-ray and told us that the fracture had healed, BUT my husband needed a joint replacement. Went to another doctor shortly afterward and the new doctor took another x-ray, showed it to us and explained that there was plenty of cartilage and NO REPLACEMENT was needed. I would not trust this doctor. Glad I got a second opinion.

Went to see him about my knee that has been acting up and to understand if there was a explanation for it. Dr. Semba was not only extremely helpful, but cared about me as a person. I was beyond impressed with my experience. He is inspiring, and acknowledged everything I had to say. He is very intelligent, kind and friendly. I would recommend him to anyone. All the reviews should say 5 stars because that's how great of a doctor he is.

Dr. Semba was personable and straightforward. He was compassionate to my Aunt who was the patient and listened to her complaints. He answered my questions and took time with us. Dr. Semba is professional in his approach and yet makes patients feel comfortable and cared for. I feel fortunate to have had him referred to my Aunt after her fall and broken hip.
