Kaiser Profile states he treats Myasthenia Gravis and that he"understand how neurologic disorders affect the whole person" yet he failed to diagnose me with Myasthenia Gravis. Schabbing refused to listen to other professionals; an experienced neurologist who administered an electrical stim test (he thought I had somehow influenced the abnormal test result), a movement specialist who believed me and other professionals. He refused further testing - I wanted a muscle biopsy (which is a way to diagnose Myasthenia) he refused. He is inept and has a God complex. If he cannot figure it out, it must be in the patient's mind..as I was told (incorrectly) was my case. A simple trial of Mestinon would have further proven Myasthenia, but he did not even think to do so. Stay away for this neurologist as he does not care about treating the patient, he does not listen to what patients say. If your condition is not what he believes it is then it is in the patient's mind. Stay away!!
