Dr. Robert Santrock, MD

9 months later my foot still hurts, swells daily and is numb. He no longer practices at the facility and other doctors there keep telling me this is normal. Not sure how...it hurts worse 9 months after surgery than it did before the surgery.

Had ankle replacement surgery summer of 2019. He cut a bone in my foot too far. Had to put in two screws. Sent me home in a splint instead of boot. Then put a boot on. Was extremely painful. Canceled appointment to go on vacation while I developed a necrosis which was not treated by his staff. Lost a patch of skin on front of ankle. He put me on a wound vac. Had eight medical professionals tell me it was the wrong treatment. He insisted I wear it. Then, developed cellulite. Very painful. Had to have a pic line put in for treatment. Still insisted on wound vac. Finally sent to a wound center who took me off the wound vac and did a skin graft. Suffer from a neuropathy symptoms due to nerve damage in my foot. I found Dr. Santrock to be incredibly arrogant to the degree of bringing harm and pain to me. His staff were confusing and unapproachable. He then left the hospital where he did my surgery.

Very good experience with him. He did ankle replacement on me back in 2017. We discussed and what procedures to do this time on other ankle. With his knowledge and experience in ankle replacement I feel good in his hands.

Very friendly and professional. Listened and answered all my questions. I felt confident in his care. Glad to have this new option the Lapiplasty Bunion procedure.

Dr. Santrock has always been very easy to talk to,answers any questions and has done a wonderful job straightening my foot out which was a horrible mess.

I saw Dr Santrock in 2016 in Morgantown.He treated and cured my plantar fasciitis.I have complete faith in him and have made the trip from Wheeling. to Columbus because I trust him and believe he is that good.

Dr. Santrock was extremely personable and professional. He reviewed my X-rays and explained everything. He welcomed questions and assured that I left his office understanding everything we discussed. Very knowledgeable and kind doctor!

The customer service from the staff and physician are an A++. I drove 2.5 hours for this appointment and it was well worth it.

Very friendly office staff. Dr Santrock was also friendly and took the time to explain why I was experiencing pain and presented me with options of treatment. He listened carefully to my concerns and made sure I understood everything he said. The office was so clean and organized. Waiting was not an issue at all. Everyone worked quickly to get my ex-rays done and the Dr was in the room within minutes.

I went to Dr Santrock in July because I'm having an awful time with my right foot. I knew I needed surgery. All he had the student do was give me a shot that didn't work. I went to another Dr and was told I needed an ankle replacement. The second Dr looked at the same x-rays Dr Santrock saw. He told me he would not do surgery because I'm diabetic. He is very gruff, doesn't listen and does what he wants. Not what the patient needs. I would not recommend him.

I had severe bunions and hammertoes - probably the most severe possible. Dr Santrock expertly operated on my right foot 2019 and my left in January 2020. I now walk pain-free. My experience was a great with Dr. Santrock. He was courteous, very polite and professional all the way through the entire process.

He was rude! He is not a caring doctor. He yelled at my mom cause her mask was falling down. I wouldn’t recommend him. He acted like my mom didn’t know what she was talking about.

Upon talking with the student Dr we got the cold shoulder and was ask why where we here and who sent us. Me and my wife has never felt so like we where being in a interrogation inside of being treated like we should of and that is listening and talking to us like we where a patient and not a enemy. I can say we will never refer or use this Doctor he needs to have a better bed side manner to him and his student Dr. I'm sorry I hate to give a bad review but this office visited had my wife in all but tears I could see the concern on her face when both Dr's said why are you here, "why" well I said you're Suppose to be a professional foot Dr.. My wife has fibromylga and has tried various medications to help her but none of them did they only caused a bad reaction and yes we where ask why have you had all those medications. Hey don't ridicule someone until you know the history behind why they had to do what they had to. I can only pray for The Dr that he try's to show the he cares for his
