Personable spent time with me my first visit

Dr S is great - thorough and knowledgeable- but the two women who run the office are worthless. They change appointments without your consent and then yell at you when you show up at the original time. They don’t respond to questions. We have been trying to get insurance authorization for a procedure Dr S ordered for over six weeks. Every time we call, it’s a different story as to why it is isn’t done and “call next week”. No apologies - just rude and condescending.

Well we never got an appointment, my wife was treated by Dr.Zarzour for seizures from an AVM. Dr Zarzour told me he would have this office call me and after four calls still no response. HORRIBLE OFFICE STAFF.

I was referred by my primary after an EEG showed something. I called and they can see me in 4 months. I said I was referred as I have an issue that something is wrong. She offered that I call every Monday to see what cancellations they had. I said I have an EEG that shows that something is not right and what if it is serious I might be in serious trouble in 4 months. she responded "did you hear what I said" I told her she was rude. I mean I was referred for a problem. The least they could do is escalate and have someone review the EEG to determine if it is something more pressing that needs to be addressed prior to 4 months. Not surprised by the other reviews to see their office staff is rude.

Office staff rude as hell, perfect example of what makes people hate dealing with doctors, waste patients time with test, can't be bothered to even SEEK the results of them they are so damn lazy, don't waste your time here, this is NOT a decent medical practice

Dr Sammartino is amazing but his secretary is awful. Left a message on the voicemail and didn't even get a response so I had to call back and then she promised to fill my prescription which she didn't so I was stuck without my medicine because she left for the day without doing what was asked of her. Four phone calls amounted to NOTHING

I've been under Dr. Sammartino's care for about 20 yrs.... I definitely would and have recommended Dr. Sammartino too family and friends...I've stayed with him for so long, because he's a professional, caring dr. that takes his time with his patients and does not treat you as a number.. also doesn't over book his patients , so you're not waiting in his office for hrs like most drs.. so yes I highly rate Dr Sammartino..

I saw Dr. Sammartino for a second opinion. My first Neurologist is better. He doesn't make you feel comfortable. I could hear him talking about me harshly with the receptionist before he greeted me for my appointment! Front desk isn't welcoming either. Got a test done there because of the long wait times at my other Neurologist. For the test, they use older and invasive equipment that ruined my hair. Afterwards, they couldn't find my report for the test. I won't go back after the tests.
