Avoid Stress and Financial Burden
My child and I visited Dr. Rampton in June 2024 for separate medical issues but were seen together in a brief, 13-minute appointment. Despite this, Dr. Rampton prescribed daily, intensive medication for my child without discussing potential risks. Later, we were shocked to receive a bill charging $165 for my visit and $245 for my child’s “45 minute” visit—despite the actual appointment being far shorter. I spent months appealing to the outsourced billing department and my insurance. The combination of inadequate care, predatory billing practices, and an unresponsive outsourced billing department reflects a system that prioritizes profit over patient well-being. I would strongly advise seeking care elsewhere to avoid the stress and financial burden I encountered.
