Incredible Surgeon
Dr Price is very precise. He’s a perfectionist. I have trusted him twice with my husbands life and both times he has saved his life on very serious operations. No one else could have delivered the outcome that he did. He doesn’t give up. He cares about his patients and he holds himself to such high standards and goes above and beyond to make his work a success. I am so grateful for him and for him going the extra mile to give my husband his life back. My husband was in sad shape and others didn’t want to touch him for at least a year but Dr Price went in earlier and thank goodness he did. He gave our family back our Dad, Husband and Brother, Grandpa. His work as a surgeon is top notch. He’s Amazing and so Particular about his work. Anyone that has him as a Surgeon is lucky and he will give it all he has. Thank you Dr Price for caring about your patients and going the extra mile. You walk on water in my book. So blessed for knowing you and having you as our Doctor. Thank you forever.

The staff that works for Dr Price are wonderful. Dr Price however is always in a hurry, doesn’t respond to messages, doesn’t follow through on what he says he is going to do. Dr Price told me that he would put a drain in when I had surgery. However, he neglected to put one in. This caused me having to deal with the swelling and the incision leaking fluid. Dr Price told me after my first follow-up visit he drained the site. He said to come back the following day if it swelled up again and he would install the drain that day before the long Memorial weekend. I came in and the swelling was more than it was the day prior. His nurse contacted him as she knew the plan and he literally told her to have me wait until the following Tuesday after the long weekend. Extremely painful and having issue moving my arm. When Tuesday came I went in and he was going to install the drain and acted put out that he had to deal with it as well as telling me that I shouldn’t have any pain.

Dr. Price simply lacks interpersonal skills and doesn't have the motivation to conduct a thorough examination of his patients. I would not in good conscience recommend him to anyone. It's surprising that he chose a career in a medical profession.

My PCP sent me for a hernia consult. Dr. Price was rude, fast, and seemed annoyed that I was even in his office. It turns out I didn't have a hernia, and he acted like I was a baby for complaining about the pain in my lower gut. He spent less than 3 minutes with me total. I do not recommend this doctor at all - not if you want someone who cares.

Terrible bedside manner. Didn’t spend time answering questions and disregarded symptoms quickly. Felt like he was a capable surgeon, however.

Great surgeon.....but zero bedside manner and empathy. I was disgusted with his unwillingness to write me a note to postpone my vacation travel plans due to still not feeling well from my surgery. I was going to be out $600 from a pre-paid hotel and thought a note wouldn’t be an issue. I was accused of being dishonest in not feeling up to a vacation and he absolutely refused to write me a note and would not agree to speak with me in person or on the phone. Extremely unprofessional....

He saved my life. In 2004 he did a coectomy followed by a take down to a j pouch. It was touch and go for awhile. I struggled and he never hesitated to take me to the OR in the middle of the night. He took amazing care of me and I HIGHLY recommend him to everyone I meet, all my family, and all my friends. You will be in very capable hands!! I've gone back for multiple surgeries. There's not another surgeon I'm willing to trust with my life. I drive 4 hours round trip to each appointment. Worth it!
