It's been years since I took my daughter to see him. He ran over an hour behind, which for me is not a problem, understanding that some cases take longer or that urgencies can come up. However, because it was my child's lunchtime, I gave her a cracker during the wait. Dr. Portman walked in, unapologetic for the delay, and announced "this is not a picnic area." I would think that he would understand that children have schedules and get hungry. That was my first and last visit there.
