I have been going to Dr. Polofsky for 35+ years. He is the best doctor you will ever find. He explains everything thoroughly, takes his time with you, and really listens. He is super smart, and willing to think outside the box. The only downside to going to his office is that you will wait a pretty long time. But that’s because he is taking his time with everyone and giving the best care.

Dr P. Is the best - no question
My family have been patients of his since 1998 or so. He is: -very knowledgeable - always keeps up to date on relevant health issues -compassionate - he actually cares! - a very skilled communicator - he speaks with you in a way that you understand The office personnel are very personable and friendly, too. You will have a long wait to see him - but once you do you’ll understand why - he spends as much time with you as you think he should. This isn’t an office that tries to push as many people through as possible. I equate him to what I think a stereotypical old time country Dr would be. One cool thing about him is he’s a fight Dr on the side - if he gets talking about it, you can tell how passionate he is

I had an appointment with Dr. Polofsky on 3/12/2021 and patiently to see the doctor. I was called by his medical assistant/student, who took my complete medical history and advised me that there was a slight wait to see the doctor and I was given the opportunity to see his PA Dr. Timony but I respectfully declined. Routine tests were done and eventually Dr. Polofsky came in the room and we went over my history. I liked his outgoing personality and loved that my visit was not rushed and I was afforded an opportunity and the time to explain why I was there. Dr. Polofsky suggested my course of treatment and promised to send over medications to my pharmacy and that he would help me. That night I called my pharmacy and no medications were sent by this doctor. I’ve called this office many times asking for help and/or a return phone call and as of today 3/23 no meds have been sent to my pharmacy I feel this unprofessional behavior is morally outrageous, offensive and negligent.

I arrived early to the office for my appointment because of paperwork and then I was forced to wait approximately 3 hours to see the doctor. I was taken to the back by an intake assistant who basically just questioned my history. Routine labs, and a EKG were performed. When I finally met the doctor after waiting 3 1/2 hours thought Dr. Polofsky was great, i like his outgoing personality and brute honesty also my with his willingness to help me. His office/phone staff are horrible and basically good for nothing. They promise to help you and call you back but they never actually do. My issues remain unresolved and I’m a relatively new patient.

i've been a patient since 1998. I have never met ANYONE more passionate about his work than Dr. P.. He never talks over my head. He explains things in a way that I can understand them. heck i'm not a doctor so i don't need one that is throwing medical terms around like i went to med school. Let me put it this way: When i go to see him i ask HIM how he's feeling because i want to make sure he's going to be around a while. The BEST there is. Anthony LoGuercio

My husband and I have been his patients for 30 years. He is also my adult childrens' PCP. He literally saved my daughter's life. I would not trust my family's health with anyone else. Many people complain that his staff is subpar. I have had some issue with them but none that would chase me away from the office. There is, at times a long wait but if you want quality care, you deal with that. I would encourage and have encouraged others to see him as their physician.

4 minutes ago Dr. Polofsky was thorough, knowledgeable and had a very collaborative approach. He answered all of my questions in a very caring way. He also discussed related issues and suggestions of how to deal with them. He is thorough, collaborative and smart and I highly recommend him. The Physicians Assistants and Nurse Practitioner were also excellent in their dealings with me.

Dr. Polofsky is a very knowledgeable and caring physician. Dr. P as he is known to his patients, spends a lot of time with them and is always very thorough. He asks a lot of questions to help diagnose and get to the core of the problem. He's very personable and has a very soothing and calm bedside manner. Dr. P. and his support staff explain matters in a very easy to understand way. There is a lab in his office so going to an outside lab for lab work is not always necessary. The office is very clean and from the time I walk in until I leave all staff are very friendly, kind, and receptive. The time for a return phone back is very quick and prescriptions and any other documents or forms filled out are always completed timely.

When you have an issue, you want a doctor who takes time to listen and who knows his stuff. After seeing several other top name physicians who failed to help with the painful issue that I was dealing with, I was delighted to find Dr. Polofsky who really listened, understood and properly diagnosed my issue. Thank you, Dr. Polofsky!

Doc is great, every other aspect of this practice needs to be reviewed. They're liars and take everyone for fools. They say they take your insurance and collect a "deductable" which means a self pay fee. They're theives because they're not going to reimburse you either. Please dont be fool'd by the office manager and staff. they're one in the same.

Dr is OK- IF you ever get to see him. Long wait 60min+ in waiting room followed by another 30-45min inside. Office is quite messy- and rooms inside just as bad. Expect to spend at least 2+ hrs. Call backs from office-> none. The Drs are OK as well as the PA's - Office help- so far no problem. ONE positive note: You can get same day/next day appointments. Big reason for seeing him. It does make you feel a bit ICKY sitting in such a mess of an office!

I picked Dr. P's name out of a book 15 years ago and consider myself extremely lucky. Although the wait times are sometimes more than I'd like, it's because of the amount of time he spends with each patient. He is very knowledgeable, keeps up with the newest research, is very personable and can explain like I'm 5 years old without attitude or condescension when needed .

Absolutely horrible Dr's office. I would not have bothered to write this review if i was not a health care professional and so incredibly appalled by the way this practice handles itself. There is ALWAYS a billing error and my insurance in consistently over charged. There is ALWAYS over an hour-long wait after your appointment time. The office is filthy, archaic, and some rooms look like they're being used as a storage room for the owner's personal belongings. Do yourself a favor and avoid.Gross
