He was taking over care of daytime MD on the 3rd floor of the hospital. I was in for elevated pancreatic enzymes. I was supposed to be discharged but was given IV narcotic drug in the morning via nursing staff. Apparently it’s hospital policy against discharging patients who have received IV narcotics. All in all it was a big mess and Dr Phillips didn’t help ease the situation. He was super short and grumpy with me. Poor bedside manners. He seemed to dislike his job and people (grumpy old )
