I am in the middle of an extremely complicated, very serious medical issue that was found after a hysterectomy. This doctor has been an angel on Earth. I have never in my life had such a caring, proactive, knowledgeable doctor. He knows and works with a team of other amazing doctors who are all willing to assess my case. Dr. Penney checks on me all the time, gives me direct access to call him any time, and goes so far above and beyond for me I have no words. If ever a doctor had the capacity to change my life, it is him. For everything he has done and for all he is continuing to do, thank you a million times. I can not recommend him highly enough. He’s a blessing and one of the most compassionate doctors I have ever met.

While I have complete confidence in Dr. Penney's skills I would not recommend him to family or friends due to his lack of empathy that we experienced. We left his office feeling we had been verbally abused and insulted. Perhaps there is a slightly softer side of him, after all everyone has a bad day, but we did not see it.

Please do yourself a favor, stay AWAY from this so called doctor. Very rude and disrespectful towards women. He rushed me for a D&C. I was in so much pain after that . I was complaining and he didn't care. I consulted another doctor and what I was told I was in shock. First of all I didn't need a D&C but I need a surgery to correct the mistake that Dr Penney caused to me.

A week after a D&C I had horrific back pain and cramping. Visited this doc and he didn't LISTEN to me and dismissed my pain telling me I had an infection, not evening knowing if I did. Returned to the office a Second time that week and YET again no one listened to me and dismissed my pain saying it was ovulation pain and no way I had any retained tissue, 100% confident it was all taken out. Went to a new practice and found out I DO indeed have retained tissue and require a 2nd surgery!TERRIBLE

Great surgeon! Very caring and knowledgeable. He performed a very difficult hysterectomy with ease. I was up and running in no time!

Absolutely the rudest doctor I've ever encountered. He is moody and nasty. Je doesn't always remember things, but does like to belittle patients. What a horrid horrid experience. Never again!

I have been a patient of Dr. PENNEY for over five years. I am comfortable each time I visit his office in Shrewsbury. I have never left an appointment with questions. He is 100% thorough, and takes the time to draw diagrams,just to make sure I understand everything going on. I would definately recommend Dr. Penney.

Can be curt and hurried or relaxed and caring. I guess it depends on the demands of the particular day that you see him. He's generally been good with me over the many years (15-20) that I've been a patient.

I had the most terrible experience with him. He was incredibly rude and didn't listen to any concerns or problems. I never had a doctor treat me this badly. He rushes threw the exams and discussions& he is terribly very over opinionated. I will not recomend this man to anyone. The other doctors are very nice but it doesn't make up for this man. The office staff is also efficient. But because of dr. Penny I will not return. If you're looking for a rude and uncaring Doctor you've found one.
