He was really helpful about getting me in quickly for surgery and surgery went great. He was a good listener overall and kept me informed. I did warn him I'm allergic to surgical glue and he used it anyway, but he was also responsive at prescribing a steroid cream to help get rid of the hives. Overall, I'd recommend him!

My mother-in-law needed a basic, minimal lipoma removal surgery. Our experience with Dr. Patterson hasn’t been the greatest. The surgery ended up being canceled at the last minute. Mind you, this was after they had already put the IV in my mother-in-law’s arm, and she was fully ready to go ahead with the surgery. We understand rightfully why the anesthesiologist didn’t think it was safe to proceed. Due to a previous heart surgery she had 20 years ago. She had also been experiencing chest pain recently. In all honesty, a good doctor would have prepared more properly. I’m sure Dr. Patterson has performed these types of surgeries a million times. It would have been very much appreciated if we had been advised previously that we’d need a cardiologist prior authorization. Dr. Patterson and his office knew the previous history of all the surgeries Linda had in the past. He could have easily instructed us to make sure we had that done way before, just in case it caused any issues for us.

I would definitely recommend Dr. Patterson. I had pancreatitis and Dr. Patterson recommended removing my gall bladder to heal the pancreas. I had seen several doctors and had under gone every test to find the problem and I was told over and over that my gall bladder was not the problem. Dr. Patterson listened to my symptoms and overall health problems and recommended removing my gall bladder. It turned out that he was right. I had tiny undetectable gall stones and a fatty gall bladder caused from inflammation. The surgery could not have gone better. It is hard to believe, but I had no pain after the surgery. Recovery has been amazingly smooth. Incisions are healing well. I am very grateful to Dr. Patterson.

Dr. Patterson fixed my hernia. He did a really good job and was very nice. He is easy to talk to and a good listener.

I had serious complications from surgery with another doctor. Dr. Patterson was very good and helped me. I have no pain and am okay now. I think he saved my life. I will only go to Dr. Patterson now.

Amazing doctor!

Good surgeon but no heart

Dr. Patterson is the most wonderful doctor who has ever attended to me. He is kind, compassionate, cool, calm and collected. He took care of me at a moment when I was in great distress and pain in the emergency room and then followed up with a corrective surgery. He allayed all my fears and gave me the courage needed to go through with the surgery. I am 4 days past the surgery and have recovered quickly and well. His office staff is also very kind, considerate.

I had to have a hernia repaired recently and was very nervous about the procedure, I had a few other health issues that could complicate things. Dr. Patterson was very patient with my concerns and remembered them the day of the procedure, he reviewed them with my and answered all my questions thoroughly. I underwent the surgery and I'm feeling 100% now. He's a first rate person and a great surgeon. I highly recommend him.
