Love Dr. Ortiz; office staff, not so much.
No complaints with the Dr. He is thorough, caring and personable. There is, however, someone in his office who is rude, and unhelpful. We have a billing dispute, and she would not listen to our side. We have no deductible, yet our bill is showing a balance due to deductible. When we questioned the legitimacy of the claim we were told no more appointments until the bill is paid.

Dr. Ortiz is friendly, caring, and keeps up to date on all the latest information in endocrinology. He takes his time, listens to questions, and answers in an understandable way. His staff is friendly, and you can call and reach a person. He's my favorite doctor in my favorite practice—I can't give a stronger recommendation.

He's a very thorough doctor however with that waiting times are excessive. The office never calls when he is running late and by late I mean well over an hour. He also only works 4 days a week so he crams a huge amount of patients into each day.

Remember what it felt like when the doctor took the time and made an effort to listen to you and ask a lot of questions before rushing you out so he or she could get on to the next patient. That's Dr. Ortiz. And his staff, starting with Manny are always friendly and helpful.
