The best -Dr Mittra
I think Dr Mittra is an amazing doctor. He will take all the time you need to answer your questions and then he moves on. His office is run so cleanly run they take one patient after another finishes with their test and they keep moving the patients get to the doctor waiting are where you may wait 10 minutes. This is why Dr Mittra is in and out if you don’t have any questions. It’s a well oiled machine that is one of the best run businesses I’ve ever seen. Dr Mittra and his staff are very knowledgeable in their individual areas. I recently went to a different doctor and was shocked by how long I had to wait between each test. They said it would be a 2 hour test. But the test would have only taken 45 minutes. Really makes you appreciate Dr Mittra and his staff even more!

I saw Dr. Mittra in St. Cloud, MN. My observations included that the clinic was highly disorganized and clearly needed some time management skills, starting with the unnecessary waiting at check in. Most frustrating was the inability of just one staff member to manage expectations by following up when information was requested and communicate with me about why I was waiting for two hours before even progressing to the test for which I had been referred to them. I believe I only finally received the test because I got fed up with waiting and told them I was leaving. Besides having to repeat my history, the whole experience led to limitation in my ability to trust anything I heard or saw from the doctor or his staff. The doctor seemed fine, but the disorganization and lack of communication brings no confidence in the clinic’s ability to effectively (or efficiently) treat me, either as a patient or simply as a person.

My situation was serious. Without surgery, I would have been blind in my left eye. Dr. Mittra was clear, confident and concise. His associates were helpful and reassuring. I was terrified. Follow up was thoughtful and professional. Always I arrived with questions that were welcomed and carefully answered. Dr. Mittra was on call when my serious condition occurred. I am fortunate and grateful.

Dr. Mittra lacks bedside manner. He walked in without so much as a hello or introduction & quickly looked over my mother. He then pointed to a screen that she couldn't possibly see attempted to explain to a practically blind 80 year old woman that he didn't know what was wrong & that it was her brain & she needed to be realistic as she would never read again or probably not see TV. Several times I had to ask, "So what your saying is..." Callus, short, rude.
