Highly recommended.
Dr Miegel and his team at Mt Auburn replaced my left knee in 2011 and the right in 2015. I had a rapid recovery both times with no complications and have been able to resume an active lifestyle. I highly recommend Dr. Miegel. He is thrifty with his words, but presents all the essential information in a caring and complete way.

April 20,2016 I had a THR on my left hip. Dr. Miegel and are all excellent ..Dr Miegel is brief and to the point but more then adequately answered my questions and seemed genuinely concerned with alleviating my pain. Prior to my hip replacement I could not put my socks on tie my shoes walk my dog or even dry my feet after a shower. His ability as a surgeon is amazing. The care I got from his staff was second to none. Mt Auburn is spotless and everyone from housekeeping to nurses were top notch.

I was referred to Dr. Miegel by many friends and colleagues who had used his office for joint replacement surgery. I was very happy with all aspects of my experience - ease of appointments, time spent with the doctor, his bedside manner, etc. Dr. Miegel is an excellent orthopedic surgeon. I will definitely go back to him to have my OTHER knee replaced.

I have never had such a horrible medical experience in my entire life. This doctor is rude, unkind, curt and unprofessional. He walked out during the consultation leaving me with no answers to my questions, slamming the door in my face on his way out. PATIENTS BEWARE. Do not waste your time or money to see this jerk.

Dr. Miegel gave me my life back at 56! Hip Replacement Surgery was easy, seeing I never had been in the hospital, never mind surgery! He and his staff are caring and top notch. Looked forward to his morning check-ins! Overall experience was EXCELLENT!!
