My husband was a patient of Dr. Marsh. In the end, he felt completely abandoned by his own doctor. After one of the few chemo treatments he had, my husband landed in the hospital. He never heard from Dr. Marsh again, despite many attempts on our part, and that of the hospitalists, to reach him over the course of a month. Finally, Dr. Marsh told the hospitalist, via text, to call the "on call" oncologist (who had never met my husband) to make the decision of having him stop treatment and begin hospice. I could see how hurt and devalued my husband felt. It was terrible. When diagnosed, Dr. Marsh was talking about "a year from now". Instead, we were preparing to say goodbye barely two months later, without a word from him. I have no idea if the decisions made were the right ones. I wish he had received kindness and care others spoke of with Dr. Marsh. Even just the reassurance from the man my husband had entrusted his life to.

Dr. Marsh treated my spouse for cancer. While nobody wants cancer, Dr. Marsh and his team really made the process as non-panicky as it could be. Whether we had good news or bad news on any given day, my spouse and I always felt better--more knowledgable, well cared for, listened to, empowered--after meeting with Dr. Marsh. Also, he really runs on time; I think the only time we had to wait even a little bit of time was when he was going the extra mile for another patient--something we knew he would do for us (and he did) if we needed it. We recommend Dr. Marsh and his entire team very highly and without any reservations! We were so lucky to have him on the team!

Dr Marsh is an amazing doctor! I was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer at age 33, which was very serious, and Dr Marsh helped me through all of the treatment, surgeries, follow-ups, etc. and continues to be a wonderful doctor for me. He pays attention, doesn't dismiss, and is just a really nice man. You couldn't ask for better in a GI oncologist! I truly love Dr Marsh!
