After waiting over an hour (the receptionist went to lunch a few minutes after we arrived and never informed him that we were waiting), we were finally ushered to his office. He was arrogant and spoke to us like he was all knowing. He did not like when I questioned him and he became defensive. When we went to leave, I noticed that he had left his office door open which made me feel even more uncomfortable. My first clue should have been that he could see us so quickly. Lesson learned.

This man recommended pscothropic drugs for my young son, offered to write a prescription for whatever services I wanted for my son as long as I agreed to have the service filled by another provider, left us in the waiting room for over an hour while he saw 3 other patients who came in and were scheduled after us, insisted I fill out horribly copied forms that should have been mailed to me prior to appointment, and spent a whooping 5 seconds trying to get my autistic son's attention. Back in 2010 I went for a job interview fir a medical billing position at his office in East Liberty. He and his wife conned me into helping arrange their patient file, under the guise of showing them I know how to file correctly! Needles to say, they didn't call me back for a job offer, why would they, I'd already done what they need. These two are two very dispicible people!

Dr. Lowenstein spoke to me as if I was deaf, dumb, and blind. I wouldn't recommend him to anyone. The behavior specialist sent out to help my child had a agenda of their own. Instead of helping my child they proceeded to make false accusations about my child, and my family, in hopes to label and render a false convenient diagnosis.
