I had a procedure on July 28 to replace my pacemaker with a device that paces and can defibrillate. Dr Lewis also had to extract (3) leads and implant (2) new leads. whenever we met he instilled high confidence in my wife and me regarding his ability to perform the procedure. He always made us feel like he was not in a hurry and ready to spend a lot of time with us on our questions and making us feel good about what was going to happen. His whole team is very positive and and supremely confident in Dr Lewis!! I liked how he also consulted with my doctors in Hickory and at Duke to decide on the right course of action. I feel very fortunate to have met Dr Lewis and have him as my doctor!!!

Dr.Robert Lewis is a great doctor along with his staff. Dr. Lewis replace a broken wire that had been in my heart for 15 years for me. The Lord directed me to him for the hospital I have been going to had shut down the hybrid operation. Then my doctor got sick then vacation then my other doctor went on vaction. It was on thing right after the other. When I first met Dr. Lewis I knew he was the doctor for me. Dr. Lewis spent over a hr with me and my wife on my first visit. He my doctor now.

I had one office visit and we agreed that I needed a pacemaker. Surgery was scheduled tThe nursed started preping me. An intern (?) who identified herself as working with Dr. Lewis came in. I asked her a question or two about the procedure. She, looking like a deer in the headlights of a car, asid that Dr. Lewis would be in to talk to me later. When he comes in he told me that I was to have a different operation. That is when I left.
