Impatient, judgmental, seems to know meds but is inflexible and not open to discussion. Poor listener...He appears to have no training in active listening. Became irritable regarding symptoms until I pointed out that they were symptoms and I should not need to explain that to him. Bedside manner: Standing by the side of a patient's bed. I recommend caution - he starts out by behaving professionally, and that quality disappears over time.

I have a TBI and this man got me off very debilitating meds. He got me to finally sleep after 2 years of misery. He saved my life.

Dr. Lawrence had been my psychiatrist for years. I was mostly satisfied with him. The one issue I had was that he would make suggestions or prescribe medicines, and when I said I wasn't interested or that the medicine wasn't working, he would ignore it. Because of this, I stopped saying anything when I disagreed. Yesterday, I called him to say I needed off a medicine because it was making my depression worse. He responded by calling today and telling me he no longer wanted me as a patient.

Dr Lawrence only wants your money and when you become a nuisance he fires you. Stay far away and he is very rude and non caring
