Dr. Kulina has been my father-in-law's cardiologist for almost 2 years. My father-in-law is in his 90's and hard of hearing, so I speak with his doctors on his behalf. My father-in-law and I agree that Dr. Kulina is one of the most caring and dedicated doctors that we have known. The care and attention received during office visits is exceptional. And while it is true that Dr. Kulina's examinations are thorough and comprehensive, the remarkable thing is the level of communication provided by Dr. Kulina. He always remembers to keep me informed via telephone calls after his office visits with my father-in-law. He has also called me on 3 separate occasions to check in and make sure my father-in-law is well. In my estimation, Dr. Kulina is a credit to his profession.

My outstanding experience started before I even made my appointment. I met my cardiologist (Dr. Kulina) when I was in the emergency room at Mather Hospital. I then made my follow-up appointment with him. The total experience was exceptional. Staff and office far exceeded my expectations. Dr. Kulina was very personable, knowledgeable, thorough, professional and helped me with all areas of my care.

Dr Kulina became my cardiologist after I met him in the hospital as an emergency patient. His caring & friendly manner put me at ease & I realized this is the doctor for me. The staff in the office are just as nice as he is. Very glad I switched to this practice.

Met Dr. Kulina at Mather Hospital when I was rushed there from work for a cardiac emergency...CAD, also known as the widow maker. He took the time to call my general practioner and also my husband who was away for business. He explained the urgency of the matter to them and to me. From there I was transferred to St. Francis Hospital (my choice) as that is the best heart institute on the island. I am currently following up with Dr. Kulina and so far I am very satisfied.

I strongly against using this cardiologist. He is not a person that should be in the medical field, no compassion or empathy towards patients. My grandfather was in Mather for chest pain and didn’t show up til hours later, actually 3 minutes after my grandfather was pronounced dead and he had the nerve to come introduce himself to my family!! Where were you the hours before when you were called?! They don’t make doctors like they used to. These people are in it for the paycheck. disgraceful!!!
