Zero Stars. Do NOT go to him.
If I could give ZERO stars, I would. If you care about your mental health and physical well-being, do NOT go to this doctor. He is extremely dismissive of mental health concerns, showing no compassion or empathy. I even listened to him talk to his assistant in a demeaning manner in the midst of my appointment--you can tell a lot about a person on how they talk about others. My experience during the appointment was deeply disheartening and felt like a complete failure to uphold the basic principles of care and respect that should be central to the medical profession. His disregard for my needs and well-being is unacceptable and has seriously undermined my trust in healthcare providers. This guy should be investigated to avoid hurting anymore patients.

The best doctor I've worked with
The task of finding a new mental health care provider is always overwhelming, but Dr. Kohn quickly became my favorite (after being recommended by my previous favorite). He really listens and does his best to tailor your treatment according to your needs. Sometimes that means medication and/or supplements. Normally I am wary of the supplement industry, but his recommendations are backed by science and always reasonable - e.g., don't expect any profound immediate changes but they can help you feel a bit more optimized over time. He is is always polite and professional, and also very direct (no coddling), which isn't for everyone. It just depends what kind of style you need. Sometimes he will have one of his residents conduct the session while he observes, though he'll always ask your consent first. I will go to him for as long as he's in practice, which I hope is a long time. It's clear he loves his work.

This doctor is highly corrupt and injures his patients with highly neurotoxic medications and denies the injury occurred. He should be investigated.

I would give this place zero stars if I could. I have been back-and-forth in contact with this place for two weeks now asking for help regarding anxiety, depression, and postpartum from my new baby. Not to mention covid. I was told that they offer telehealth for patients. I requested telehealth for my initial appointment because I have a baby at home. They then proceeded to have me fill out 35 pages of paperwork send it back in and then tell me that I have to be seen in office. Even though i wasn’t happy with the result, I agreed. Then they asked for a release of information from all of my past medical doctors. And I was told that if those records weren’t received before my initial appointment that I would not be able to be seen. Then Cindy at the front desk called me and told me that I would have to take multiple tests that would be an out-of-pocket cost to me which would range between 300 and $500 after I had just sent her an email telling her that I’m trying to be conscious of my

Robert Kohn over medicated me and had ZERO sympathy or empathy, he didn't even apologize! Then instead of calling me to ask how I am doing, he'd call my wife! However he did tell me "you wouldn't make this many mistakes at your job." After he realized what he'd done. Well buddy your job is to keep me sane but you're driving me to insane. Thanks!

I have been Dr. Kohn's patient for about 6 years. I came to him extremely depressed, diagnosed as bi-polar and in deep depression. Also I had been diagnosed with major vascular cognitive impairment due to a fall. Trying a few different things, we settled on the medication. In turn, we worked with another doctor, whom was a neurologist. I have been extremely blessed to have Dr. Kohn and we stay the course on his recommendation. Thus, I can honestly say I have felt better mentally beginning 2013

So glad I found Dr. Kohn. He took time getting to know me & my condition, never rushed me, good at answering questions, well knowledged, kind, friendly, & funny. I trust him. Never once over-medicated me. He's helped me find better meds than other dr's pushed that didn't work. I LOVE this doctor! Office staff is friendly & professional. Waiting room is clean & relaxing. No complaints about him or his staff. I've had many psychs before & he's by far the BEST! He's also a neurologist. 5 stars!

This doctor is wonderful. I've only ever heard good things about him. My best friend sees him and she's never been happier with a psychiatrist before. He took her off all the old meds that didn't work and finally properly diagnosed her. She's doing better today than she ever has in the past 20 years!!! Thank you Dr. Kohn. If it were not for you I'm not sure my friend would still be alive. You've saved her life and her spirit. God bless!

Rob knows basically nothing about the drugs he prescribes. He thinks the common symptoms of antidepressant discontinuation syndrome is "bipolar," despite his DSM-IV-TR pointing out this is a blatant misdiagnosis. All doctors learn in med school that combining the antidepressants and/or antipsychotics is unwise, because this can make a person "psychotic," via anticholinergic toxidrome. Rob denies this, and misdiagnoses the iatrogenic illnesses he creates, with his "invalid" DSM disorders.

When my previous physiatrist stopped practicing about 2 years ago, Dr. Kohn was one of the doctors he recommended for treatment in my area. Despite living/working ~45 mins from his office, I’m very pleased with his holistic approach to treatment. He is the most thorough, caring and thoughtful doctor I’ve worked with, and goes beyond just writing addictive prescription medications to temporarily relieve symptoms.

I've seen Dr. Kohn twice now. He claims to have sent in an order for my medication to the pharmacy at my first visit. They never recieved it, same with this second visit. Did absolutely nothing to help my depression, simply said "you're fine". Looking for someone new.

Dr. Kohn saw my mother for depression and anxiety. Rather than listening to issues or caring about patient safety, his solution is to up the dosage of meds or prescribe additional meds. She ends up catatonic and has been hospitalized 3 times since seeing him. Pill pusher.
