Surgery
I had numerous floaters in my eye and the doctors office found a retinal tear. Dr. KIng performed surgery the same day. Very professional and kind.

I recently had a very scary moment when it was discovered that I had an emergent retinal detachment. I was beyond fortunate to get to Georgia Eye Institute and into the care of Dr. Robert King. I can’t completely describe how overwhelmingly fortunate I feel. Dr. King is highly skilled, highly competent and undeniably caring. Dr. King and the entire staff at the Georgia Eye Clinic treated my condition and me personally as though I was their number one priority. My condition was not ideal but my treatment was and my expectations were exceeded. I am extremely thankful.

I have referred many of my patients with retinal pathology to Dr. King for evaluation and treatment including my youngest son. He is an outstanding retinologist. As an eye care practitioner I care more about his abilities rather than wait time or how nice his staff is.

I recommend Dr. King in the way he sat with me and explained all details of my test and results, Allot of doctors they are not as forward and friendly as this doctor. It is rare when you can sit down and have results explained to you . I had a family doctor in Florida, his name was Dr. Alongo, I was real comfortable with him because he was the same way. Doctors today are not what they used to be, patient to Doctor and Doctor to patient relations. Some Doctors are to busy they have to run.
