I always enjoy visiting with this podiatrist. He speaks clearly and make sure that I understand what is talking about. He is aware that I am hard of hearing so he provides me with written instructions to take home.

Jelinek left a mess and a lot of pain
Jelinek treated me for a badly swollen foot. Radiology reported “possible cancer” so I trusted him to operate to find out what was going on. When he opened up my foot he found a ganglion cyst, but instead of closing the incision and consulting me, he dissected it out, numbing half of my foot, destroying nerves and blood vessels and leaving scar tissue and a gaping hole in my plantar fascia that feels like broken glass and causes almost constant pain.. This was all totally unnecessary. I think of his mistake every day. If it became fluid filled again it could have been easily aspirated without leaving a damaged, painful foot and destroying functionality and causing pain. I like Jelanek, but this was a bad outcome. His role was to explore and report not make and act contrary to accepted medical practice without consulting and do unnecessary harm.

Dr. Jelinek solved my foot problem when walking and running by designing insoles for me. He is a very competent and thoughtful medical professional. I recommend him highly.

Very thorough and not rushed. I appreciate his mechanical approach to my problem and trying common sense solutions first. He has really helped me. He is very busy so plan ahead!

Dr. Jelinek is Brilliant! He preformed a surgical procedure on my foot that was long awaited. I was concerned about the down time others said would be lengthy. Dr. Jelinek worked with the functionality of the foot. This ment a quick recovery and total repair! Thank you Dr. Jelinek!!! Shelly Rio
