Absolutely a Physician! Dr Ivy is a great doctor and has one of the best personalities I’ve ever seen in a Dr. Before the surgery my left hand was totally numb but immediately afterwards I had feeling in my fingers. Should have done this years ago.

Absolutely THE best!
Years ago, Dr. Ivy repaired my daughter’s scaphoid fracture that had been misdiagnosed the prior year. I cannot say enough about his care and expertise. I was SO impressed, that when I developed a trigger finger, I called Dr. Ivy for the repair. Again…..outstanding. Now that I’m 65, I’ve developed another hand issue, and plan to call for an appointment with him for a consult. He is the ONLY doctor I will trust with my care. Thank you, Dr. Ivy!

Dr. Ivy did a great job with my carpal tunnel surgery. The procedure and recovery were painless. The ambulatory surgery center where I had my surgery performed was first class. The results were great with complete relief of symtoms. He has a wonderful personality. I would give him the highest possible recommendation.

My wife works at the Wiesgarber office. She was called in to work with Dr. Ivey when his nurse had to leave because of Covid 19 symptoms. She was given no time to prepare or any extra safety equipment. Nor was any cleaning done to the "hall" they work on. She was required to do this only because she is leaving for a better job in 2 days. Very unsafe and unprofessional!

Dr. Ivy did surgery on my elbow after another orthopedic Dr. had given me 7 cortisone shots in it. The surgery was 100% successful. About 10 years later Dr. Ivy removed a small tumor like growth on an index finger. Again the surgery was 100% successful. He’s tops in his field of medicine.

Dr. Ivy is a great dr. He has done surgery on me 2 different times . I was pleased with outcome both times. Surgery center staff was awesome, also. However, He is notorious for running behind. I understand emergencies occur, but at times the wait is aggravating when it’s over an hour past your appointment. I’ve seen him at least 4x and always have to wait. I’ll take the good with the bad in order to have a great , trustworthy, surgeon.

Pedigree doesn't matter when a doctor has absolutely no respect for your time or the simple courtesy to keep a scheduled appointment at the agree-upon time. I walked out on this guy after waiting for an hour and a half. Who knows when he would have even bothered to show up? No one at the facility (KOC) bothered to let me know how late he was running and ask if I'd prefer to reschedule; instead they assured me after a half hour that he'd be right with me. After voicing (calmly) my displeasure and leaving, no one bothered to follow-up or apologize, and -- while they're johnny-on-the-spot to ask for reviews after successful appointments -- it's telling that no one bothered to ask for my opinion about this one. If you think I'm nuts, and that waiting on doctors is acceptable behavior, good for you. I, however, am of the opinion that they work for us, and -- just as I was respectful of his time by arriving early -- he should have had the common decency to respect mine.

I had surgery on my hand due to arthritis in the CMC joint. Dr. Ivy and his staff provided exceptional care during my surgery and with follow-up care. Dr. Ivy explained to me exactly what procedure would be used and gave me confidence that surgery was an option I should consider. The surgical team explained to me exactly what care I would be given during the procedure. The Physical Therapy I received helped my regain use of my hand. I feel fortunate to have the support of their care.

We are fairly new to the area and I was referred to Dr. Ivy by a friend. I had surgery in January, 2017 and it has been a great experience. Dr. Ivy and the surgical team were easy to work with, helped to alleviate my apprehension regarding surgery, and saw me through the recovery process. A shout out to their physical therapy folks as well.
