Extreme vision loss
My husband and I were both patients of Dr. Hodges for a number of years. After my cataract surgery (done by Dr Hodges) I had a great deal of vision loss. My husband was diagnosed with glaucoma but Dr. Hodges told him he was out of treatment options so his vision became severely degraded. Dr. Hodges seemed kind and personable but dismissed our concerns and told us there was nothing that could be done. Out of frustration about our continued vision loss, we set up an appointment with another ophthalmologist for a second opinion. She disagreed with Dr Hodges’ assessment - she immediately changed eye meds, provided lots of options, and much more hope, for saving our vision. Unfortunately, you can’t turn back all the existing damage. We wasted much too much time and we lost way too much of our vision trusting Dr. Hodges.
