Mostly ok, but can be short with you
The staff was very pleasant and polite. Due to allergies and other factors I am very cautious about taking drugs, especially any kind of opioids. Trying to explain this to him the doctor became rather terse and short with me. It surprised me and my wife who was in the patient room with me. (Maybe he had a bad day, or was ready for lunch and was hangry, just plain bi-polar... Who can say) We thought it was a rather unprofessional, and I am not a 10 year old to be scolded. Also out of all the doctors I have he is the only one to have a $225.00 facilities fee not covered by my insurance. Apparently he is contracted affiliate and rents the space from BS&W from what I was told.

Dr. Haynsworth is exceptionally knowledgeable and helpful if you are trying to get OFF pain medication and get on with your life. If you just want more pain medication so you can lay on the couch, he probably isn't the person for you. The staff, on the other hand, are rude and contentious. They are actually employed by Baylor and they will try to bully you into paying WAY more money than you are supposed to based on your insurance information. Even when you have an EOB from the last visit!

I had a scheduled appointment at 11:00am. this morning. 01/17/2017,arrived early and filled out the paper work. I told the receptionist I could pay with a check today or a credit card tomorrow when I received my social security. She said to come back tomorrow when I could pay, after waiting about 30 minutes. Needless to say I was shocked as I have been his patient many years Money, money, money that's all that seems to matter, and just for one day.

Very helpful staff with the exception of the billing person Abby she did not understand how a secondary insurance works when you have already met your maximum out-of-pocket. The insurance company even called her twice and explain to her that we would not have a co-pay that they would pay 100%. She insisted they had to take the payment because the doctor requires it. Then said it was for a security deposit. they need to invest in someone that's knowledgeable and Can explain it to the doctor

I made my appointment over three weeks ago and his office waits until the day before my procedure to do a pre-certification on my insurance. I called them back to talk about it on a Friday at noon and the insurance coordinator leaves at 10 o'clock on Fridays! So it's now Monday, the day that I'm supposed to have my injection in my back, and they're telling me that Dr. Haynesworth is in my network but the facility where he's going to be performing the procedure is not in my network!
