I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Hammer! He’s caring, compassionate and just has an all around great personality. He spent more time with me listening and explaining things than any doctor ever has. I’m so glad I was referred to him. I had no idea this kind of practice even existed prior to the referral. I feel safe and confident in his care. Thank you so much for everything! You’re amazing! I wish I would’ve found you 2 years ago.

Dr. Hammer is the best doctor I have been to. He was very dedicated, informative, caring and kind. He made sure that I understood what was going on by drawing them out on paper. He is very patient and took ton's of time with me to explain some of my issues. Dr. Hammer followed up with me everyday after my two surgeries in November. I owe this man my life literally! I would recommend him to my family and friends. I have not had any issues with my problem since.

I am 71 years old and have been dealing with prolapse issues for the past 10 years. I knew I had no choice but to pursue surgery as I had exhausted all less invasive options. I came to Dr. Hammer as a “second opinion” and knew immediately that I wanted him to perform the surgery. He is knowledgeable, empathic, thorough and kind. He provided extensive information to me and my husband and we both felt comfortable and safe in his hands. Surgery was a complete success!! Post-surgery he was available for all our concerns. I plan on following him for all future gynecological issues. Thank you Dr. Hammer!

Dr. Hammer is a kind, patient, informative and attentive physician. He has an easy rapport and is always the female patient’s advocate. Communication was excellent. Seeing a male physician for female problems can be intimidating, but Dr. Hammer insures you are comfortable. I highly recommend!

Dr. Hammer is simply the most exceptional physician I have ever encountered! I have extremely complex medical issues and Dr. Hammer is the first doctor to take the time to listen carefully to my issues and solve them. He is highly intelligent, exceptionally compassionate, and my most trusted medical professional. I have been in his care since 2012 and he has performed 2 successful surgeries for me. When additional physicians have been required to fully work my issues to resolution, he has co

Dr. Hammer is one of the most thorough, compassionate, patient-centered doctors I have ever had to encounter. I needed semi-emergent laparoscopic surgery following an IUD placement mishap. This occurred while I was caring for and breastfeeding a 5-month old. Dr. Hammer understood the time-sensitive nature, both medically and due to life circumstances, without me needing to advocate for myself. He was communicative with me, my providers, even concerned family members - he went above and beyond!

I was hoping for non-surgical, minimal solutions for life long pelvic floor issues. Dr. Hammer gave me complete info, placed a new style pessary that worked to remove all my symptoms for 4 years now. I find him a true listener, sensitive, gentle, funny, comfortable to speak with about sensitive issues, supportive to my attending husband, efficient but not rushed, and a very likable presence! I have not found that level of knowledge, help or acuity in his field from another. jp/boulder

I would highly recommend Dr. Hammer to anyone I know in need of his services. He is really exceptional and I found my visits to be most satisfactory. The nurses extremely professional and personable as well as the front office staff. I am so pleased to have been referred to Dr. Hammer by my primary care physician and will continue seeing him as necessary.

Dr. Hammer is respectful, patient and kind when answering all sorts of questions. I had surgery with Dr Hammer for hysterectomy and stress incontinence. Dr Hammer spent an hour with me the first visit, answering my questions and explaining my options. I have continued to see him since surgery for follow-ups. Dr Hammer is up to date with the latest research, is kind, compassionate and has a great bedside manner and gentle touch. His utmost concern is the patients' comfort and making sure the patient is educated to make the best decision for their situation. Great doc!

Had lap Hyst and rectocele repair. Was told would have 1 year follow up appt. When I called the office after one year, because I had not been contacted, was told he is no longer at practice location. I fell through the cracks and am having issues. Dr. Hammer seemed competent enough though surgery seemed to cause more-not less problems down there. ???

I was scheduled for a hysterectomy to remove my ovaries and uterus. He only removed my ovaries and later, at a post op checkup, apologized for failing to remove my uterus. This was over two years ago. I continue to worry about my uterus as I have a history of uterine cancer in my family. VERY UNSETTLING TO SAY THE LEAST. I would never recommend Dr. Hammer.
