Poor communication not thorough
My parents have gone to Dr Hafford for probably 40 years. They are loyal and trust him. I do not. I feel he doesn’t communicate, has missed diagnoses and is not someone I’d recommend. My sister and I used to go to him also years ago and he missed simple diagnosis like eczema calling it acne. His office staff is rude and flippant. His office appears run down and is not at all pleasing to be in. The office hours are shrinking and the voicemail does indicate when they are closed. Overall very disappointed.

Excellent Doc
Dr. Hafford has been my doctor for 25 years. When my family expanded, he became the whole family’s doctor. I have never been mistreated, misdiagnosed, or ever had any problems with him or his office staff. The ladies in his staff are amazing. Whatever is needed gets done accurately and fast. He figures out what is going on and formulates a plan and starts his treatment. He explains what is wrong in a way that you can understand. He makes sure that you know all about any new meds or treatments that he starts. He is kind, compassionate and has a great sense of humor. My young kids would giggle every time they saw him. He has a clean office with a loving atmosphere.

Best Doctor Ever-He is very thorough, thoughtful and listens to his patients. My only regret is he’ll probably retire before I die.

I agree with previous poster. EXTREMELY out of date medical practices. He brushes over appointments with elderly patients and family far away have a difficult time managing their care even with medical power of attorney. He did not perform senior tests at physical and staff dismisses requests saying "the patient acts just fine". Office hours are difficult to understand, closed more than open, randomly closes office, cannot get through to people, no website/portal to help manage care from afar.

Dr. Hafford has been our family MD for well over 57 years + He is a Family MD and I have never found him wrong in wisdom or diagnosis. If he feels that it is a matter that must be done by a specialist, he will make suggestions on who to see or hospitals that will do the job. I find him comfortable and he listens and explains all items, especially in my Physicals.....If you tell him honestly what your feeling--he will guide to a healthy future.

Extremely out of date medical practices. Most importantly, attempts to tackle complicated issues that a specialist should be managing. patients, especially elderly, assume he is very educated in all ailments. Again, he should hand over patients to specialists instead of mistreating/misdiagnosing.
