DO NOT RECOMMEND!
I would absolutely NOT recommend. He was cold, uninterested, and rude. Unprofessional, at best. He refused to look up from his notes. His questions were filled with judgement. There was no respect for my choice of treatment. Part of the oath that Dr. Guth took is as follows: “I will remember that there is art to medicine as well as science, and that warmth, sympathy, and understanding may outweigh the surgeon's knife or the chemist's drug.” Since Dr. Guth showed no signs of warmth, sympathy, or understanding, it is time that he retire from practicing medicine.

Dr. Guth is a very down-to-earth physician that calls it like he sees it. He's extremely sharp and knows his procedures well. Often time pre-empting on "neccessary leg-work" for getting to a specialist or having a procedure. His staff, and RN are TOP-NOTCH. Very quick response times and always warm. Another strong benefit is a lab right next door. If you're moving to the Hermitage / Mt. Juliet area I highly recommend you stop by.

Knowledgeable, caring always answers all questions. Does not "over doctor", but keeps you current on all your tests and procedures. He is unique in that he has an eye on costs and suggests efficiencies. His staff is friendly and knowledgeable. This is a wonderful practice that I have recommended to my neighbors!

I love Dr. Guth, he will not prescribe unnecessary medication and will even give you simple OTC remedies. He is professional and courteous. I have been seeing him since the day I moved to Nashville and will continue. The hubs will also start seeing Dr. Guth

Dr. Guth was my physician for nearly twenty years, until my wife and I retired and moved to another state. He is simply the best doctor I've known. He gives honest and straight-forward answers, but also has a good sense of humor. Unlike some previous doctors I've used, he didn't send me for outside tests or to see a specialist unless he felt it was genuinely necessary. And there is no annoying television blaring daytime talk shows in his waiting room!

Would not send my worse enemy to this man. What a joke. And he took an oath to treat his patients. He should not even pretend to be a good "Doctor".

Cannot look you in eyes. He always looks down into his notebook. Personally I like Drs/ people who look at you when they speak. Probably a good Dr I just didn't get a good feeling.
