Dr. Robert Foege, MD

Possibly the worst doctor I've ever seen in my many years with Kaiser. Rude, doesn't listen! I didn't need the procedure he performed on me. When I tried to ask him a question about it, he refused to answer by rudely saying, 'No, I'm too busy and don't have time.' As it turns out, I really didn't need it and it has caused on-going problems. Also, there never has been any follow-up whatsoever. Avoid him like the plague!

Truly the most condescending, rude, an utterly unhelpful human I have ever dealt with. When it is my health that we are discussing, and my care that we are looking for a plan of care for going forward, the last thing I want is for a doctor to tell ne to “be quiet.”In 57 years I have never dealt with the Doctor Who truly made me rageful, but he managed to do that in less than 15 minutes. Unbelievably unprofessional, and if you are within Kaiser and have the option, please choose a provider that has your needs and your care as his goal. This would not be him. I wish there was an option to give negative stars because he doesn’t even deserve the one required in order to do the review.

He isn’t very polite and thinks he knows everything. I was very stressed out when I was involved with this Physician.

I am a kaiser patient and have been for 30 yrs. After being referred to Dr Foege in pain management, I am changing my insurance away from kaiser. Will not listen to your concerns, unbending will not adjust in any way to work with a patients concerns or needs.

I've been a patient of Dr. Foege for nearly four years. I've always found him to be professional, kind and willing to listen. He's patient with my questions, and offers explanations that I can understand. I've had several procedures and he's always intuitive to any twitch that may indicate distress. I have utmost trust in Dr. Foege, and highly recommend him to anyone who needs a caring physician to help with chronic pain.

CHOOSE ANOTHER DOCTOR!!! Dr. Foege forms his diagnosis without considering patient's history, physical testing or patient's complaints. He is rigid and unyielding. He adds conditions to the patient's profile, outside of his area of expertise, that do not exist. These additions threaten the patient's future care. He loses his professionalism quickly. His temper changes if the patient expresses disappointment in the effectiveness of his treatment plan. ANYONE WOULD BE A BETTER CHOICE!

This provider appears to over-estimate his own knowledge and understanding of patients, while he under-estimates the intelligence of his patients. I personally would not go to this Doctor.

Outstanding! He is not only very polite, friendly, sincere and professional, he is thorough in researching the patients medical history and cares about the whole patient and wants to fix the problem, not just mask the pain. He works at Kaiser, so his staff is not a reflection on him, nor is scheduling, office environment, etc. On several occasions, he has spent hours with me at a time on consultations, once even staying well past his quittin' time. He is by far the best doc I've ever had.
