An Amazing Experience
Dr. Fishel is a talented and highly recognized expert in Cardiac Electrophysiology! Even more striking is the interest he takes in his patients. He explains everything carefully and provides contextual information for any necessary procedures. Twice, he made time for me on short notice during what were very busy days. My ablation was smooth and cured my AFib. He also took time to discuss my lifestyle and encourage me to lose a “little” weight, which helped me immeasurably! I recommend him without reservation.

Special doctor!
Dr. Fishel was encouraging, thorough, professional and made me feel at ease! He exuded confidence in his ability to deal with my condition, AFib and perform a procedure (an ablation) to put this heart irregularity behind me! That’s exactly what he did!

'Not worth it
Dr. Fishel might be a good doctor but his staff is less than professional in my opinion. A poor back up will only cause problems sooner than later. Unfortunately, most act as if they're more important than the doctor or, for that matter, the patient.

Office is up to 4 hours for a simple appointment on each visit. At least 2 hour sits beyond the appointment time in the lobby. Lobby overflowing. Lost Holter Monitor report. Calls to the office manager not returned. Office calls me while I am sitting in the waiting room for 2 hours beyond the appointment time and saying not to come in that day????? Chaos in the office.

Office communications is terrible. Dr Fischel is a brilliant EP doctor with no business acumen. My suggestion for him is to spend more time and money on quality office personnel and watch his commitments to the hospital so you can have effective patient follow up..

My Dad recently had his pacemaker replaced by Dr Fishel. The care he received was outstanding from the beginning to the end with follow up care. Dr. Fishel is a remarkable cardiologist who will always go the extra mile for his patients. My Dads quality of life has drastically improved since his surgery. I highly recommend Dr. Fisher and his team. Sincerely, Horst K. Saalbach.
