I met with Dr Fekete because of a tremor that I had in my left hand because one of his specialties is movement disorders. I met with him and gave him my medical history. He performed a thorough neurological exam, ordered blood tests and took a complete medical history and onset of my tremor. He evaluated the information and data and diagnosed my tremor as Tardive Dyskinesia. After taking the medication he prescribed, my tremor showed no improvement. I grew concerned and so I had asked him to order an MRI. The MRI didn't show any real difference from the one that I had taken about a year ago elsewhere. I asked him what then could be causing this tremor and he told me that it could be many things. I left that day with a feeling of disappointment and uncertainty. I was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease about two years after my initial visit with Dr Fekete. I'm extremely disappointed that despite being a movement disorder specialist, he was unable to correctly diagnose my Parkinson's.

Dr. Fekete took his time to listen and respond to my husband's concerns about another neurologist's initial diagnosis and medication for Parkinson's. His tests and suggestions seemed to ease the tremors. He also reviewed a brain MRI and asked my husband to see an ENT regarding persistent nasal discharge.
