Dr Driscoll is giving incorrect information.
I saw Dr. Driscoll for gall bladder surgery, he said there are absolutely no long term effects. He did list the risks of surgery in general. I was surprised to hear him make the claim of no long term effects despite many medical articles and publications that document cases of long term effects. It is alarming for a doctor to not be 100% transparent with a patient.

not happy
First time meeting Dr. Driscoll-referred by another doctor and read reviews. I wish my visit had been as good as others. He seemed very rushed - asking for medical info which was in my file (I had verified that he would be able pull up when I was in that location last week). Without an exam to determine my problem he already said he wouldn't be able to help me. Look on my face had him change his mind and did exam (fast). Stepped out of office for few minutes ..then stated although he could see an area that might be of concern and hurt when examine - he didn't think he could help. Quickly said "Sorry" and rushed right out before I could say anything. The referring doctor sent me there because it was in Dr. Driscoll's field. Dr Driscoll gave me no direction-- rushed the appointment maybe 15 mintues tops- not informed or interested - or caring. DON'T GO TO HIM if you want someone who cares. Time for him to retire!!!
