Completely Rude! Will not Treat!
My mil went for referral from neurologist because of bulging discs and pinched nerves. Dr told her scistica was not real. It was a term family doctors used because they didn’t know his field. Then told her that he knew she was told about the discs and nerves but he wasn’t going to treat that. Told her she needed to go home and think about it before he would do an injection. Even though she has had multiple injections and nerve ablations. He said the pain clinic didn’t know what they were doing. Then when I asked if we could go ahead and schedule the injection instead of going home to think and then calling, he went off. Yelled and belittled both of us until I stood up to him. He then immediately left the room yelling and dismissed her as a patient. Do NOT go to him. There are other doctors in the practice for you to see

Terrible! Does not care about his patients!
Been in pain for over 9 months waiting on appointments. First appointment only seen his PA and was told he wanted me to have a EMG prior to discussing surgery. His staff messed up the appointment and I couldn't get rescheduled for it until after my next scheduled appointment with him. Called his office and they told me to come in anyway that it wasn't necessary. Got to my appointment and was then told he wouldn't see me without having the EMG. His staff did work hard and got me an appointment to have the testing done immediately and also stated that if I could get it done and back within 2hrs he would still see me that day. Rushed to the other doctors office had the EMG and was back within an 1hr 15mins. Upon checking back in I was told he was to busy to see me that day and could be rescheduled for sometime in Nov (2 months later). There were only 2 other patients in the waiting room at that time and he had to be ahead of schedule since he didn't see me earlier.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!!
I went to see this Dr about 8 months ago and my experience was horrible!! I waited about an hour and a half to even get seen! To beat it all I didn't even get seen by him! I think with the first visit you should see the Dr and not the PA! All she said was that I don't need surgery....no follow up...NOTHING!! I have been in pain for this long and I had a 2nd opinion and of course, I need surgery!!! He's a horrible Dr!! Please don't go to him!!

Impressed!
I saw Dr Crow to discuss an upcoming spine surgery. He was incredibly kind, straight forward, clear & concise. He didn't give me false hope, or make empty promises. He was honest. He brought me a level of comfort without even trying. I have complete confidence in going forward under his care. Will update after actual spinal fusion. So far, so good.I really like this man.

Excellent & very thorough
Dr Crow was very caring about my health & wellbeing. He provided thorough & detailed pre/post surgery instructions. Was very kind to me & my family. His cervical surgery restored my quality of life, even though I’m an older person. He instilled confidence to me regarding his surgery skills & new techniques; he thoroughly explained the surgery including the risks. I felt my surgery was in good hands & I had complete peace going into surgery.

Ulnar Nerve Repair
Ulnar Nerve worse now than prior to segury. Crow will not apologize nor will he admit any wrong doing. He is arrogant and rude. I will have to have it re-repaired. I cannot imagine why WVOrthoNeuro Keeps him on staff!

His bed side manner was horrible and I felt he belitted my mom because he couldnt pull up the MRI from camc! He then told her there was nothing he could do for her. He didnt even address the issue of her back and neck pain Just focused on her leg numbness.

This was several years ago, but I will never forget it. My mother was diagnosed with cancer, and Dr. Crow treated her due to a tumor on her spine. He took it upon himself to advise she was terminal after hospital visiting hours when NO family was with her.

Having the opportunity to fill out my new patient paper work online before my appointment saved in-office wait time and was appreciated. During my exam, I found Dr. Crow to be thorough in his explanation of my condition, approachable and respectful of my questions and concerns. While I did not end up needing surgery, Dr. Crow and his staff coordinated treatment that resolved my pain. The staff was friendly and helpful. I have no hesitation in recommending Dr. Crow and Neurological Associates.

I made an appointment to see Dr. Crow in January after losing the use of my left arm as well as having difficulty walking very far. I was told I had three herniated disc pressing on my spinal cord. Dr. Crow said there was no other options to fix this except surgery which was scheduled for two weeks from my visit with him. My decision for surgery was the best decision I have ever made. I now have full use of my arm, back pain is all gone and can walk anywhere Thank you Dr. Crow for fixing me.

Please find another Neurosurgeon!! My family just got the worse news of our lives and Dr. Crow's didn't show any kind of compassion and just looked at us as we were just another bug in his big world. He had ZERO bed side manners and his staff is not the best as well. Took forever to get a hold of anyone then they lie about having what you requested weeks ago. Please do yourself, your family and even your worst enemy a favor and find another doctor.

Dr. Crow is bluntly honest and very intelligent Not the best bedside manner. He said he could not do anything to help me. I believe him. I still respect him highly. I have to continue to find a spinal surgeon who IS able to help me - maybe the Cleveland Clinic, Emory U., Mayo, John Hopkins, wherever. Staff send papers by EMAIL not regular MAIL, so I used up about an hour filling them out. Metro MRI gave my friend the incorrect MRI, but Dr. Crow found it online anyway.
