Made an appointment 3 weeks ago. My 6 year old son has back flow into his kidneys and is retaining in his bladder . Collecting bacteria. He is constantly sick. They say yes we take your insurance. Then today 4 days before the appointment they say we dont take your insurance and you have to pay $150 cash. To late to get an appointment with a new doctor. No offer for payment plan. So they dont do their duegilagence and my son has to suffer because I'm not prepared to pay 150$ when my copays is $30. Awful customer care. They should be ashamed.

Had Rezum procedure by Dr. Robert Cope - the only TWO MINUTES I ever saw him (EVERY visit I saw his PA). I was conscious at the time, but with multiple medications. This was without doubt the most painful two or three minutes of MY ENTIRE LIFE. Nothing else comes close. The worst thing was, after initial improvement, about four months later ALL my symptoms came back. Due to my extraordinarily poor experience with Dr. Cope, I chose to go to a completely different practice (Dr. Thomas Brinton). I

I was told I'd be on dialysis at the emergency room in Mesquite. I went to Dr. Cope for a second opinion. I was admitted into the hospital in St. George Utah, and had Dr. Cope do the lithotripsy procedure, I got to go home with no kidney problems! He and the people on staff were amazing. I love being healthy, not on pills or dialysis treatments that keep you on tether forever. Thank you Dr. Cope.

Recently I have been treated by Dr. Cope for multiple kidney stones. Dr Cope was professional and friendly. I had 2 treatments and am returning for more this coming year for removal of more of the stones. Very happy that I went to him.

He called by phone, three days after he had received the results of my biopsy. It was at closing time on a Friday. He left a message with my wife: "Tell your husband he has cancer. Have him call next week to make an appointment to talk about it." He had my cell number. I was available and anxiously waiting to hear from him. I felt that in the situation I was in, I needed a physician with some compassion, and personal interest in what I would be going through. I found a different doctor.

Dr. Cope is not available. I had a major surgery to do a bilateral varicocelectomy. It became infected and swollen and finally after 3 1/2 months, and a lot of different prescriptions, they figured out it was a bilateral hydrocele. I decided to do the required surgery. Dr Cope did the surgery and a few days later I was having more issues. After ER and wound clinic visits Dr Cope would not even see me himself. I still have a hydrocele on the right testicle, but will not be going to him to fix it.

Dr Cope performed hernia surgery on me. He is competent and caring and did an excellent job. He was great at explaing the procedure and the healing process. He carefully explained what I needed to do for the weeks following surgery and set an appointment for follow up. Dr Cope looks after me for prostate cancer as well. I trust him compltely.

Dr. Cope is extremely personable and knowledgeable. I didn't expect to have issues in this area of my body so soon in life, but he's put me at ease and given me the needed medication to control things. I appreciate most especially his kindness and understanding. I would recommend him to anyone who needs a urologist. He has also worked with my wife, and for her to feel comfortable with a male urologist is saying a lot!
