Dr. Robert Chu, MD

I am a long time patient of Dr. Chu. I want to say over 20 years with him but yesterday’s visit was the last straw. Lack of attention to details and poor quality care since the pandemic. It gets worse each year with him sadly. I plan to contact the office tomorrow regarding my exam experience and how they are all to happy to nickel and dime you for poor or no service at all. I do not plan to return to him. I must voice my concern so that others do not get the same lackluster patient care. Do not get contact lens fitting with him yearly. There is no fitting and he spends 1-2 mins on your eye exam for glasses. They are quick to swipe your card though! No discussion on your prescription or even how it compares to what you already have. I honestly think it is a guessing game with my prescription. I even asked if my bifocal prescription for readers was different and all he said was I will include it. How!?

Dr. Chu is an amazing Physician. He works tirelessly with a great bedside manner. He is surrounded by a phenomenal team of technicians, admin and support staff. His equipment is top grade. Quick on their feet and smart. Caring with personal phone follow ups by all team members including. Dr. Robert Chu himself. Very satisfied with results during this Covid era. Extremely happy with results.

Dr. Chu treats you as a special person. Kind and soft spoken, knowledgeable and explains things the easy way. Makes me comfortable and at ease like you've known each othe for a long time!

Very technically advanced office, with lots of high tech ophthalmologycal diagnostics equipment. Friendly staff. Highly recommend this office for anyone in need of any kind of ophthalmologycal care.

Dr. Chu is caring, gentle, thorough, and professional. His clinic has state-of-the-art equipment, and his technicians are skilled and efficient. Even though it is a very busy practice, I always feel like I am getting highly personalized attention.

I have seen Dr. Chu for about 19 years and visit his office four times per year. Since I have Glaucoma, Dr. Chu follows my condition very closely. In his office, I have gone through several tests to check my optic nerve, Retina and eye pressure in this visit. Dr. Chu answered my question fully. I have full my confidence in him.

Dr. Chu is very thorough, explains what he is doing and what he finds. He is very friendly and thoughtful. His staff uses lots of equipment, all of which seems to be the most advanced testing equipment. I trust him with my eyes, which I would do only with a doctor I trust completely.

Doctor Chu is the gold standard for professionals in the medical field. From top to bottom, the entire operation is first class all the way. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

All exams are done immediately with professional staff I would recommend to lower the temperature in the office

Dr. Chu is a wonderful doctor. He takes his time with you and explains everything. Highly recommend him.

1) at checking in, front desk ask me to contact my insurance company because they are to busy to call; 2) at checkout, obvious mis-coordination of information because multiple staff had very different inputs into the eye care program that I was paying for; 3) overall, staff was pleasant & friendly.

Great doctor. He could've been a little friendlier when we were with the techs, but I am attributing his standoffish demeanor during that time to lack of awareness. Aside from that, he's amazing. I've seen him for several years and brought my son to him after an emergency. I am well-pleased with the doctor, the staff, and the office in its entirety. I would definitely recommend.
