Dr. Robert Chen, MD

Dr. Chen has been a consistently excellent doctor for myself, my wife and my father in law. All of us are over 65. We learned about him from another family who also swears by him. He asks good questions, communicates very well, never makes you feel rushed, and is an excellent diagnostician. He involves you in your own care, explaining your options for care as well as the likely pluses and minuses of each option. He does not hesitate to refer you to a specialist, but in my experiences, in most cases, he can provide treatment and suggestions that work without having to see another doctor. When he prescribes a medication or treatment he starts you out on what he thinks is the lowest level that could work, but doesn't hesitate to increase the dosage or try something else if the problem persists. He's especially careful not to over-medicate you. Additionally he and his great staff follow up to ensure the prescription is working well. He's the best doctor I've ever had.

I have had Dr Chen as my primary physician for about 20 years. He is caring, thorough, professional and a wonderful caregiver.

Dr. Chen and his staff need recognition for the excellent healthcare they provide. The response time for patient needs is extraordinary. What physician's office calls you to go over test results and explains the detail thoroughly? What physician calls his patient to discuss your current situation in detail? The answer is Dr. Chen and his staff! They really care about their patients and their follow up is always there. You are never forgotten. Thanks God we found a great doctor!
