I see Dr. Chalfin once a year for Yearly Medicare Physical, lab work and EKG.I have confidence in Dr. Chalfin's opinion. He goes over my chart to see if any shots are needed. This last time I needed a cortisone shot in my knee.He was able to do so with his time frame.Does care about all patients health and their concerns.Thank you for being a great and dedicated doctor. Have been using Dr Chalfin for a very long time... He saved me from needing kidney dialysis. My blood pressure had run totally out of control and he listened to the arteries to my kidneys and found the blood wasn't flowing freely. Most doctors would have missed that but since kidney disease runs in my family along with raging blood pressure, Dr. Chalfin knew exactly what was wrong and sent me to a doctor who did a procedure to unblock my arteries to my kidneys. If it weren't for Dr. Chalfin, I may have been looking for something more serious down the road. He is not just a PCP but an internist. He comes very highly recommended! My kids actually live about 40 minutes away from his office, and they still come down to use him. His bedside manner is absolutely excellent! We all love him!

I see Dr. Chalfin regularly as he monitors my medical issues and lab/test results. I have more confidence in Dr. Chalfin's opinion and ability above all others (and I see many specialists). This may sound strange, but I even look forward to seeing Dr. Chalfin (who I see quarterly to review my blood work and meds list). I know I will get honest and sound advice on ANY subject we discuss. Dr. Chalfin is an active listener; he asks follow-up questions (which is rare these days) to fully understand my issue(s). He explains everything in terms I can easily understand - and he is a terrific person to boot. He is the (hands down) best there is and I am grateful to be one of his patients.

Dr Chalfin is a fantastic Doctor who truly cares deeply about his patients health and overall well being. Dr. Chalfin is one of (if not THE) most profession and capable physicians that I have had the privilege of being a patient. I always feel he has a firm understanding of my overall medical care and always takes time to discuss and make me feel part of my treatment. One example of his level of care: While in for the flu he checked me thoroughly and noticed a mole on my back - it was a malignant melanoma. My oncologist agrees that thanks to Dr. Chalfin I am alive and three years cancer free.

We, my husband and I, value and trust the expertise of Dr. Chalfin's medical care for us. Not only is he competent professionally but he is also punctual with appointments, responsive to our patient portal and phone questions and most importantly we feel that he genuinely cares about us. He answers our questions, listens to our concerns and makes suggestions when warranted that work. We truly wish that they could care for us when we are admitted to Abington Hospital.

When I came to the office with a very swollen hand as a result of weeding, Dr. Chalfin stayed later than scheduled to see me. He has always been easy to talk to and helpful with stress, i.e. recommending I try meditation and stretching. He called me soon after my husband died and was concerned as to how I was managing my new life's chapter. Dr. Chalfin always apologizes when he's running late. (Wednesday, October 17, 2018.

There are no words to describe Dr Chalfin.. he is not just a family physician; but he is an internist. He doesn't just examine you and send you packing. He's takes the time to sit down and listen to everything that is going on with your health. his bedside manner is awesome! There r very few doctors like Dr Chalfin. He comes very highly recommended!

I was out sick with the flu and 101.5 F fever. I had no way of getting to the office, especially with the snow. I tried calling to get a same day appointment, but they don't answer their Option 2, so I did the only thing I was able to do, and left a message asking for a sick note. Jen finally called back over 5 hours later and left a message stating that Dr. Chalfin was away and Dr. Goodman refused to write me a sick note since I had not been seen in the office. So many bad experiences here.

Dr Chalfin is highly responsive to patient needs. He is a very straight forward and effective communicator and an excellent clinician. I am very happy with the care my family has received from Arlington Internal in general and with Dr Chalfin in particular.
